I helped one of my LSes out today with this fight and was kinda surprised that the difficulty of this fight for LV 90 was actually still pretty rough compared to cap at around 75 (Damage resistance wise, not so much, but Nightmare is a rough AoE move to recover from). Before I joined, pt wiped twice to fight. I joined up for 3rd attempt and we won. Noticed that Lightsday definitely makes a difference in how simple the fight really is.

Here's a question: does the Magic Attack Bonus move for Diablos affect the Nightmare potency? I was surprised that I woke up the next second that he landed it on my character.

I'm 99% sure it does not. It's just a very potent Bio effect, so nothing should be able to affect it.

It's likely that you just 7/8ths or 15/16ths resisted it, since we're probably a higher level than Diabolos now.

Don't forget diabolos cheat with cacodemonia...which is AoE Curse. A big drop in HP/MP pools.

Yeah......the resists in this game really kill me. Feels like Baldur's Gate trying to make a saving throw to resist sometimes.....actually that's practically what it is.
