First off, i must say the lack of new worth job abilities confirm how underdeveloped this job can be. About Konzen-Ittai, it is a new trademark of Samurai,and would be better to lower recast time really.Hagakure instead is a total looser here,whitout consistency in upgrading this job.
To clarify,SE could instead give sam a new line of Ja like hasso and seigan,one for dmg,and 1 for defense.so this Hagakure should be made a stance,even if it was 3 min lasting,and recast 5 min,and not for just 1 weaponskill every 3 minutes.....
Or just make it able to be up always like hasso,but giving some sort of penalty or limitations.But as it is right now,it's just garbage,another ja to be thrown time to time,leaving sam where hes been since abyssea,in mog house:P

One JA alone should not bring SAM back imo, but being plagued with multiple JA that do not impact our over all dmg much or are terribly situational, seems rather counter productive. With all the effort SE is putting forth with game adjustments (creating a dedicated test sever), they certainly have my respect. As with most balancing acts, it is far from easy to find that ever elusive "sweet spot" - give it time.

SAM has nothing to complain about in regards to damage outside abyssea. At all. After Konzen-ittai Sams shouldn't ask for anything ever again and they're still getting Hagakure.

Strange tho, seeing as we got sengikori a decent ability at 80 cap, nothing at 85, nothing again at 90 cap, then after a few updates sam finally gets something in the 90 cap range. Hmm its almost as if sam doesn't get something every update? But what do I know, I only pay attention. Would be nice if SE could at least bring some balance back to this game, coughpupdrkthfsmnrdmpldrngcough.

Hagakure should have its recast lowered or be implemented as a trait. I think there should be a Store TP +100 trait.

I guess it just seems like they get buffed every time. What about the zanshin adjustment in the middle of the summer? Also they were back buffed with a lvl 65 job ability, Konzen-ittai, which apparently is an idea taken from the dancer job and made a lot better. They really don't need anything. Check how many job abilities they have compared to jobs like drk. Seriously SE needs to leave SAM alone for the rest of the game.

Abyssea SAM's who never had decent gear at 75 when SAM's were king complain about SAM not being good while the same SAM's who had decent gear at 75 when SAM's were king have improved and continue to be king.

Well, i am not saying SAM is crap now. It's true samurai were quite strong back then,though what i mean is that for me,this job lost the use it used to have,because other jobs can do the same,or even better.I don't want SAM job to be the best,just have some real use,strategic use for extend,because for raw dmg many jobs are very similar.I'm not complaining tho,other jobs as well need to be adjusted and bringed back to a real purpose ^^

Yeah, SAMs don't really need anything more. They've got quite a range of options as ridiculous damage dealers, much higher than any other class, and if they're not buffed via ja's every few new updates, they're buffed by ridiculously strong weapon/armor options.

Sekka before it and you can kasha>>>light>>>Fudo>>> light for some extra fun. Seriously though outside abyssea if you have fudo, sam jack stomps just about every job while being able to straight DD or tank with the new zanshin stuff. Even inside of abyssea if you know what your are doing sams can still dole out a sh*t-ton of damage but aren't the king of the abyssea mountain.

Yeah SAM gets the cream of every update either gear/traits/JA or enhancments. Y/G/K ignore defense as a HIDDEN effect in addition to debuffing the mob 100% unless they're immune, while WS like Wheeling Thrust and Camlann's Torment ignore defense with TP. Having Hasso/Seigan/Meditate/Sekkanoki as your main job's abilities means you can sub WAR and get Berserk/DA/Aggressor and make the best of both. DRK and DRG main job abilities are meh and rely too heavily on /SAM for defense and TP gain. WAR and SAM abilities compliment eachother EXTREMELY well whereas DRK and DRG have to rely on /SAM and lose out on Berserk/DA/Aggressor that WAR/SAM and SAM/WAR both get.

Just give DRGs more ridiculous TP gaining jumps and we can all call it even?
SAMs can boost the WS/SC dmg and rate of WS/SC via TP altering JA/Traits why not let DRG have the Jumps be their defining role, or to level the playing field make all the SAM's JA have shared timers! Ha! What a riot that would be to see happen.
dont give drg more jumps, remove shared timer on jumps.

Yeah DRGs are being threatened by SE really bad lol :P tho mnks are better in tanking purpose,personally i haven't tested the new augments to seigan-third eye but third eye never been all that good to avoid being hit,especially on nms.Mnks counter and defense abilities are superior to me,while being able to deal pretty much dmg.
Victory smite deal great dmg,while aftermath make hits very bad.
