Now maybe i am missing something here but since when are player characters allowed to kill you during besieged,what a croc......one second im kickin ma majool but the next minute some galkan ahole is poppin me for 700 damage and bam im dead by the hand of player whose name is Dekapansensei:mad:Now if this is normal disregard this rant,i have played besieged a million times and i never got killed by another player,so maybe this is a new thing but there were others there why did this a hole just kill me and when did pvp during besieged start anyway,was this guy somehow cheating or did u guys enable random pvp during besieged???i just want to know cuz i have never seen that before:mad:

Maybe the player who killed you was charmed, perhaps by a mob you didn't see since there is usually such massive lag during Beseiged you can't see your nose in front of your face.

I do believe charmed people are enemies of the empire, and as such, must be vanquished.

I was killed by a general once; I think I pulled hate when I was charmed on my THF, and Mhili swatted me for like...super high damage. One shot kill.

But yeah being charmed is generally the more common issue in beseiged ; you can be attacked and you can also attack charmed players. I like doing the latter sometimes because it's kinda fun...but generally -- you can always pop a fanatics....if you have it available or just kiss them goodnight w/ a sleep bolt and hope they don't resist or have shadows up to stop them in their tracks.

all very true replies lotsa lag but such has been besieged for ages and as it was my first one in a while i shouldve xpected a bs death but the more i think about it the more im certain i was assaulted by a big ole charmed galka and now feel utterly stoopid writing this post so oh well everybody is allowed to make mistakes i just wasnt happy as i was doing well till that moment of bs death ol thanks for the comments i must say reading and posting on this forum is highly entertaining ffxi players are awesome!!!!!

I was always glad of being a mage with sleeps when I saw charmed people running at me. I still jk with friends about the day they let me go dragoon and I polearmed them lol.

Heh, the only reason I'd even go to Besieged anymore is on BLM to nuke charmed people. Pretty recently I went in there and roasted a Taru with Fire V and Firaja. Only time I ever felt bad about it was when I killed a charmed person with Burst II right as the Besieged ended. :x
