... And now my account is shut down from lack of payment! :D

I would share with all of you the last two hour struggle I've had trying to get payment to work, but, this isn't livejournal or facebook. All in all, everyone else struggling with me (or who has struggled in the past) has my sympathy.

While reading about the "reactivation" of character, there was a mention of $3.00 for 30 days? Does that mean we have to pay an additional $3 fee to reactivate characters? Or does it mean mules are now $3.00 a piece? I'm honestly a bit confused and with each passing minute my patience with Square Enix is growing thin. >:/

I thought the deadline to shift an account over was pushed back, and would now go into effect when the two additional planned payment methods were implemented? Or something like that.

I live in the US and use an easily accepted credit card, so I'll admit that I skimmed a lot of stuff on payment methods and just bought enough Crysta to last until automatic payments through not-ClickandBuy are implemented.

I've been trying to buy Crysta and I've been struggling like crazy trying to get ClickandBuy and UltimatePay to work. UltimatePay won't even let me log in (no idea why), and ClickandBuy blocked my account. =w=;

I was hoping with the rollback that we'd get one more month with the original pay but it seems that isn't the case. :/ Oh well.

They probably just said they would extend it but forgot to actually tell the billing dept.

Switched karb to Crysta just a few days ago, and Karb is Deactivated for the time being too :3 Keeping her down until I get money for Crysta.

Not really a big deal to me, But eh. I'll get online sometime this month. Oh well

I bought a Prepaid card, so that could be why ClickandBuy is blocking me. If it's not because it's a prepaid card, then I have no idea what it is. I refuse to let them touch my family's credit card though.

As for UltimatePay, I have no idea why it won't even let me log in.

It's not the money, I have the money. It's the two companies refusing to let me do business with them! XD

Oh well. Maybe it's a sign for me to /toss the game away and move on with life.

I'm a bit confused about the "log in" part of UltimatePay. I was able to choose that option and buy crysta directly with my credit card, without having to log in to anything. Or are you trying to do it through paypal (through ultimatepay)?

No. I put in my card information, then it asks me to log in. I put in my username and password, then it says, "Error: Cannot log in".

That's certainly weird then. This is what happens when I go to pay:

As you can see I'm not logged in, all it does is ask for credit card info (well mines saved, but you get the point). Those are the only 2 windows that ever pop up.

Prepaid debit cards are no longer accepted if that's what you bought.

I finally got UltimatePay to let me log in. Bought some crysta for the month and put it on.

I set up my click and buy account last month when SE asked us to do so. (under extreme duress of course, I've been playing for 6+ years and NEVER had any trouble with payment methods before) and soon after, I tried to log in and found out that my character was no longer active because I didn't have a content id. Click and buy cancelled it after they attempted to charge my card (there's NOTHING wrong with it, my husband's account went though with no problems) I had to reactivate all my characters, which they charge me for, and then pay ANOTHER monthly fee.. (I had already paid the first month)I was so upset because today I checked my account and they charged me again.. that's 3x payments in TWO months. Ridiculous.

They shut down your forum access after a while of not paying too, so we probably won't be hearing any new suggestions from you for a little while.

My brother is on my SE account and he pays through ClickAndBuy, Thats his account right over there

I'm a little confused... I've got two accounts. One (this one) I transferred and bought crysta, the other I have not transferred. My husband has his own account (making that three for our household), and hadn't switched either.

SE has charged my CC for my second account and I'm not locked out even though she didn't transfer... though for whatever reason they charged me an additional $5. My husband however has been locked out and gets LM-26 (reactivation needed).

I too was under the impression that the deadline had been extended, but what gets me is how it seems to just pick and choose who it'll force to transfer. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to have this happen at least.

You think this is bad, I can't get my Japanese account linked, Japanese support says NA support should handle it. NA support says Japanese support should handle it... They basically just canceled my account and gave me the run around.

I think it is time for SE to tell the right hand what the left is doing. Supposedly the deadline for transfer was extended to allow SE time to implement new and/or revised payment options. That implied that those who did not transfer by 31 Aug would remain under the old billing system yet another portion of SE is still trying to stampede players into making the transfer now under the current options. People are being cought in the middle and it appears that a lot of acounts are being effected. Please make up your minds SE. I am wondering if SE had already terminated their partnerships with their 3rd party billers before the general population uprising and are now stuck between a rock and a hard place in re billing. Fortunately I purchased $100 worth of Crysta for FFXIV before it went to extendted free trial so I am good through Nov. I am just afraid that a lot of people are going to be SOL until they get this fixed.

So I bought crysta for two accounts using Ultimatepay and then Paypal. I have my checking account set up to paypal so that might have made it easier but it honestly was two clicks and i bought crysta for both accounts and had no problems at all.

Just lost access to FF11 because I "don't have any active content IDs". I have yet to transfer my account because I was of the impression that it was pushed back a month. Even if it wasn't, if I were to transfer my account now, I will not be given any other option than using C&B. No other options were listed last time I tried to transfer it.

So uh, SE, what's going on? I don't want to call you liars but it does certainly look like you are right now.

Fixed it, but I had to pay a reactivation fee of €1 per character.

That is kinda odd, I haven't transfered yet but I"m logged in atm, I only logged in about an hour or so again but ya. Guess we'll find out more soon. I kinda feel like the news they made today was a premade message they had set as a reminder for september 1st but the forgot about it after they made the other message with how they would extend it lol. I'd like to think for those having issues it'll be fixed soon though it does sound like you are having an issue my friend had before they just gave up playing out of frustration over it.

yeah Im fine too was able to log in and play without transferring so it looks like for some odd reason that some peoples accounts were shut off and some weren't

I don't know what all you people are having problems with. I signed up for Clickandbuy smoothly and got my characters reactivated in mere minutes.

I expected them to charge my CC on the PoL account to keep it on even though I had switched over to SE account before they announced the delay, but apparently they didn't because it's now off. And with all the stuff I heard last month about people being double billed, I'm not turning it on with crysta until I know they didn't charge it. (I will be using crysta because I can pay for it with paypal and they said they allow you to buy however much you want of it in the future so I'm not going to get stuck with some random amount I can never use.)
