Getting a lot of Test Server threads in General Discussion....

Can we get them moved over to the Test Server Category. They may soon fall off the front page here (if they haven't already). Might help if they could create a new category in the Test Server section specifically for Test Server Feedback or something:

There isn't really anywhere to put them in the test server section. There are only 2 sub-sections, Information and Test Server Bugs (with a post template even). What people have posted here in General Discussion isn't necessarily bugs. But I agree somewhat, the test server section should have a separate section where people can discuss findings etc.

That's because there is not a spcific section for test server feedback in the test server section. They just requested that we use these official forums (with dev tags) to discuss test server feedback.

If you wish to make a post on test details, please make sure to include the dev tag that corresponds with the threads on "Testing in Progress" under "UPDATES".


Or are you requesting that they add a section there specifically for test server feedback? I think that would be a good idea.

lol.. sorry... I made the post in notepad so I could grab all the URL's, and realized after I pasted/posted I neglected to mention adding the Feedback section.

Also, some of those threads aren't even using the dev tags so they would get polled when the dev team goes to gather feedback. If they would create a new category under test server that is obviously for feedback, it would make things a lot easier for them to poll that feedback.

Edit:
After looking more closely, it appears no dev tags were initiallly added to those main threads. Not sure just exactly what would be best though...guess [dev1017] Job Adjustments and Refinements under In Development, or [dev1024] Job Adjustments under the Testing in Progress section?

Maybe someone can add tags with their next posting in those threads. I'm not going to the test server,since my FFXI account will be unaccessable after 9/01 billing window. Hope to come back when the better billing options are added in the next couple months, depending on what those options are and whether they've added some decent content to warrant coming back if they aren't optimal payment solutions for me.
