View Full Version : Double Charged Crysta for August

Well, the Square-Enix site points me here to get answers... we'll see how this goes.

I transferred my account over without any problems.

I used Click and Buy without any problems.

I first charged 1000 crysta to my account and then 2000. This netted me 3000 crysta. I paid the August "basic service" fee which is 1195 crysta. I then paid for my main character which was 100 crysta. I was left with 1705 crysta; great I'll have enough for next month.

Then I tried to log in. I got the error code that my content ID was not activated. I decided to wait a bit because of, who knows, bugs within a new system. I tried to log in again later on still to no avail.

I went back to my Square-Enix account and it said that I had not yet paid for August. So I did another 1195 basic service fee, and 100 for my character. This left me with 410 crysta and I used 300 of that to active 3 of my mules (100 per.)

I am now left with 110 crysta in my account, and the billing cycle is starting up again for September. Before anybody asks, no I did not owe any fees for July or prior. I was paid in full up through July and when this whole new billing system came around now I got charged twice for the month of August.

I had been hoping the double charge would've been reversed this month at some point, and I also sat on the customer service line for a while with no answer.

I've heard other people in game who knew somebody who knew somebody type of thing or a rumor that people were getting double charged yet I can't find any posts or information if those people have gotten their service fees reversed.

Any help?

Hate to say it, but not much can be done about it through here. It's a billing issue you'll have to take up with SE directly--either on the phone, or via email/online-chat at the support portal off the POL site.

Just a note, idk why but the contact page doesn't list phone numbers. For US it's:
