Relic WSs?

I'm curious. With the new-ish weapons that allow you to use a weakened, non-aftermath form of a Relic WS, what are the chances of these WSs being questable later on? It won't exactly undermine Relics, because they have no Aftermath, and no 90+ boosts. Some of these WSs are useful, my eye being on Catastrophe, which would answer my scythe Drain WS suggestion.

So..any reason SE wouldn't or shouldn't do this?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I realize unlocking relic WSs would allow solo lv 3 SCs for many jobs, but many can already do this.

i've often asked this same question. I've yet to get a satisfactory answer. Most people just say "you want the ws, go get the weapon" Yet I dont recall anyone ever saying that for mythic ws, only relics. Its not like me getting the Mythic WS undermined people getting Mythic weapons. They got aftermaths, I didn't, that was fine with me, I still got a cool ws out of it. Why not do that for relics?

blu could solo light a long time ago with savage blade > cannon ball. It can still do it with savage blade to goblin rush. Dnc can solo darkness with pyrrhic kleos and evisceration. So honestly the lvl 3 skill chain excuse lost its footing a very long time ago.

DNC can also solo Darkness without Pyrrhic Kleos, Evisc. -> Dancing -> Evisc.

Cata drain is sucky and heavily prone to resists giving back minor hp drains and also can miss, on mobs that matter you don't drain back enough hp from the ws for it not to kick your ass. It's pretty nice on low stuff but then you can just sub dnc and be just as good anyway.

I don't use /DNC in PTs, especially not with a 2-hand weapon. It takes up too much TP to recover a decent amount. Sadly, I've just been using DRK/NIN. More survivability that DRK/DNC and less loss from Waltzing. Though not as much WS spam as DRK/SAM or as much dmg and attack as DRK/WAR.

I see no practical reason against Relic Weapon Skills being questable. Any opposition usually stems from insecurity about status or out-of-control egomania.
