After reading a thread earlier today (that has subsequently been closed) I was inspired to hunt down this old thread on FFXIAH.com. I felt it was rather fitting for what I was reading. I have also taken the liberty of adding the link to Ninians guide to DNC near the end of this post. Though I lvl'd dnc long before ninians guide was finished and thus never used it, it raises many good points that most good dancers understood without even reading it. Below is my response to a Samurai rebuttal within the thread:
When you're a dancer you know how it goes
Saber Dance will keep even nin's on their toes
Wild Flourish is win
Sekkanoki's a perk
When I use Fan Dance, I'll Put you to work

Curing Waltz 5 and I'm back in the fight!
Your SAM is like the Rockies, back in '98
All I hear is "whiff" when you step to the plate
You think my TP is gone, that it's all been spent?
The jokes all on you sucka, that's where Reverse Flourish went
You think SAM is bomb, with all the damage you do
But I've met bunnies that hit harder than you
You may think SAM is boss and that's just fine
But when push comes to shove, you're still last in line
3rd eye is cool and Seigen is great
But my Haste samba will quicken your fate
Quick step, Box step, Stutter step
they'll keep you in check
If that's not enough, Phyrric Kleos will make your train wreck
You say "LOLDNC, you just can't keep pace
That dagger belongs over the fire place"
but my auric dagger always finds its mark
so sit your butt down, you got no bite and no bark
Now I'm not a fan of Twilight, but this knife is dope
once it gets going you have no hope
sub war, sub thf, sub anything we feel
But /nin is where it's keepin it real
Shankin and Tankin is what we do best
we can even throw heals when the mages need rest.
If you try to compete I'll leave you in a pile
and Jig it on outta here Big Willy Style
