Im a new player bastok hume on phoenix. I just unlocked bard and need help with the quests to get mages ballad. Can anyone help?

I agree, checking with your server's forum helps. Put it up on FFXIAH or simply shout in Port Jeuno as well, and you'll be able to get it. Alternative: simply buy it, expensive as it is. Gil isn't too bad especially if you have cruor to convert to Chocobo Blinkers.
