Alright, I'm really tired of hearing everyone call for a balance of every job. This job has this, why can't I have it. Here is a little note for you guys:
WHM - It should heal, it should be the best healer in the entire game and nothing should be able to out heal it, EVER. When it comes to Protection, removing status's and warping people around the world, NO ONE should be able to out do them. Stop giving every job cures.
RDM - They can heal, they can buff, they can sword fight, STOP acting like you're undercut. A jack of all trades is a master of none. Sub /NIN and go solo everything in the game and stop complaining because other jobs out damage you, or WHM's out cure you.
BLM - They are the opposite of WHM - give them the ability to do outstanding damage of elemental and black magic and cast enfeebling spells, don't allow any job to out perform them!
WAR - Can tank, can do damage - They're good, keep up the good work
DRK - Can do outstanding damage, can't take hits for crap and kills themselves if they even attempt to do souleater, allow us to use the ability that was given to us. This new age fighting style crippled this feature. Stop allowing everything to out damage a DRK, we're here to do the highest tier of damage and NO job should be able to out perform a DRK when it comes out hit for hit.
PLD - Need to become the tanks of the game again. I'm tired of seeing a PLD unable to hold hate. Where as DRK can kill but die instantly if something looks at them funny, a PLD should be able to withstand any blow. Death spells against PLD should have zero affect.
MNK - See WAR but have an amazing 2Hr.
BST, SMN, PUP - You're all the same job, and you're all overpowered. BST - you can charm and also bring pocket pets, dual wield and destroy anything. SMN - You can summon Odin, you can sick pets on things and sit back as Carbuncle destroys everything. PUP - You give your animation gear. To all Three: Stop acting like you're too weak. You don't see DRK's running around soloing everything.
DRG - LOL - They're little dragon needs to grow up.
SCH - You're a WHM, no you're a BLM, no..... You're new 2hr is SWEET
THF - Give them back Treasure hunter... For you old players +7 years ago, remember when THF's actually increased the drop rates. Give them back this ability.
I left a few jobs out because frankly, they don't need any changes because they're already very unqiue. (By changes I mean something to make them stand out) and/or I don't see you guys complain as much.
To SE: Stop making every job the same! Stop giving every job the same abilities, stop listening to the people on the forum say Bio III is given to BLM's why can't DRK's have it. RDM's are too weak, we need to cast Cure V and run around and out damage everyone again. SMN Odin is not as cool as SCH's new ability, Odin casts death which is instakill.
We, as forum members, always want to improve our jobs and make us cooler. It is our nature to want to make us better than anyone else. Stop allowing it to go on. Set clear guidelines what each job is for and stop making every job the same. I'm tired of it.

Red Mage
What I'm about to say, you're gonna hear this a lot in this post so get used to it. I'm tired of needing the best gear in the game to make this job useful. Can't enfeble, heal, mele or anything effective without it and that is crap. As far as specilization, enhancing and enfebling magic. That is what RDMs should be able to do better than anyone else. Give them the spells and skills to make them stand out. Not a bunch of crap that can't be cast because resistance is so high or the same buffs every other job has.
Blue Mage
Give us a WS we can make a dark SC with. And don't give me that nyzul crap when it's imposible to get off floor 1. And better defense would be nice. Subing ninja is too expensive.
Paladin
Again, you gotta have the best gear in the game. PLD should be able to mitigate more damage. That breaks the game with the good items? Oh well, it should. PLD SHOULD BREAK THE GAME WITH THEIR DEF THAT IS WHAT IT'S FOR!!
Summoner
Biggest thing about smn is the recast timers but they've said they're working on it and I'll give them a chance. But this 2hr BS has to stop. Give us more stuff we can keep out. And Phoenix with AoE raise would be nice.
Black Mage
Why does the AoE on fell cleave generate no enemity but everything BLM AoEs does? For that matter, why does it out damage anything BLM has?
Thief
Again, gotta have the best stuff in the game to make treasure hunter worth having. Also, would be nice to have a 3rd option other than sneak attack and trick attack for trying to stack crits for treasure hunter. Perhaps some kind of counter crit like perfect counter.
Dancer
Waltz recast is too damn long. They have no plans to fix this. So much for being able to help heal.
Monk
More counter, I'd like to see counter tanking outside abyssea
Dark Knight
Just like any other two handed weapon job, but they can cast stone 2 so they get less to augment 2 handed wep use. Make drain / absorb spells more effective and longer lasting. Or give them magic to augment 2h wep use.
Ninja
Money hole. Ninja tools and shirukens are outrageous. Tool expertise should have a way to be 100%.
Ranger
Money hole. Ammo is outrageous. Then you gotta buy nin tools too.
Samurai
Why do WARs get better WSes than the WS job? Sure great kitana shouldn't have #1 damage WS, but a couple of WS that when put together for SC should out do the best G Axe WS done 2x in a row.
Scholar
Kinda painted yourself in to a corner with this one Square. Can't do anything without making it better than BLM, RDM and WHM. Just do more neat with weather / helix spells and call it good.
Warrior
WAR is getting lots of love. More love than I would give it. To me WAR should be all about having the best weapons, not the ability to stack stuff with those weapons. G Axe should be the strongest wep in the game, but wep should never out do magic.
White Mage
WHM gets plenty of love. In fact, I want to use this oprotunity to state that more jobs should habe lv5 cure sience WHM has lv6. But I have a feeling that will be coming in the 96-99 range.
Puppetmaster
I have no plans to try this job until I have done every other one in the game unless they let me have a cardian for a pet instead of something that looks like a retarded midget.
Corsair
Gambling for abilities is OK, but the bust effect is too strong. Just locking the ability to buff is enough of a penalty you don't need to add a nerf to it. Also, see ranger section for complaints about ammo.
Bard
Gotta have a million instruments unless you have the best one the game. Inventory hole. Also, sience alliances seem to be so prevelant, it's time for a Forte ability to let BRD spells hit the whole alliance.
Beastmaster
I haven't used this one in a while, but it seems to be in good shape. I'm sure a main BST would have a lot better input on this one.
Dragoon
The Wyvern needs to get bigger and more nasty looking. That way they don't get upset when SMN gets Bahamut.
IDC about making every job good, but they should all be great at something without having the best gear in the game to do it.

Fine, I'll do one too.
WAR- Keep up the good work. Can take damage, give damage, and give more damage. More weapons, higher skills, better damage dealing abilities is all this job really needs.
MNK- Loves to fist. Giving them more counter ability (something to the aspect of Retaliation) would work wonders for them when dealing out damage. More Crit ability, more fisting, and something to use Guard with (or have Guard work at all) is all this job really needs.
WHM- Loves to heal. Giving them more mp, something to the line of damage taken = MP or a job ability that goes further than Orison Pants +2 (gives them more MP back for cures) would do wonders. Barstatspells working more often and more -na spells is all this job really needs.
BLM- Loves to die. Meteor is coming, can't wait for that to happen. Mini-Manafont job ability is coming, can't wait for that to happen. Comet sounds great. A spell that causes damage with multiple status effects, like Pain on FFVIII is all this job really needs.
RDM- Loves to enfeeble. Losing its ability to be a jack of all trades though. Longer buffs are here, needs to make all buffs casted by a RDM to last as long as a Composure self-buff. A spell that causes all status effects and Cure V is all this job really needs.
THF- Loves to steal. Another stealing ability that works like Mug in every other FF game would be great. Bully sounds a little weak, unless it is AoE. Enmity changing abilities works great also, specially for stealing hate off the BLM. Better dagger WSs, another version of Sneak/Trick attack, and the ability to put enfeebles from the THF to the mob is all this job really needs.
PLD- Loves to tank, but can't anymore. Needs its own version of Provoke, but able to have max hate without losing it for a period of time. A shield that is the combination of Aegis and Ochain would really work. Less enmity loss, a provoke ability, better shields, better PLD-only swords, and another PLD-only WS that would do a lot of damage if on top of the hate list is all this job really needs.
DRK- Loves to go /emo. What is coming for this job is great, needs to do more damage though. Better scythe WSs, WSs that can crit, and Death spell is all this job really needs.
BST- Loves that bestiality. Yay for more pets. The job ability to rage the pets is great too. Needs more pet:+ gear. Better gear that helps both the pet and owner, a better axe and axe WS that is BST only, and the ability to charm again is all this job really needs.
BRD- Love to be a spoon. I hate leveling BRD, so I'll let somebody else post something for this job.
RNG- Love to shoot up (gil). Ranged attacks are very powerful, and the job abilities to take away enmity gain and transfer it to another (unsuspecting mage) is making this job lovable again. Bounty Shot is great, but needs to be more accurate. More ammo, better WSs, and less expensive ammo is all this job really needs.
NIN- Loves to stab stuff. Needs Jubaku: Ni, like, NOW. Everything else about this job is ok though. Jubaku: Ni now please!
SAM- Loves to wiff WSs. Needs multi-hit WSs that don't suck. Got lots of skillchains, but can still wiff WSs 5% of the time. A job ability that makes the next WS crit, OR a crit WS is all this job really needs. But why not have both?
DRG- Loves to ride the dragon. Seriously, they need to ride their dragon. Jumps that are separate in timers, another job ability that heals the wyvern, and a bigger dragon is all this job really needs.
SMN- Loves to sic radioactive pets on stuff. Getting a cat to eat that mouse of theirs. Needs better BPs for all avatars though. Getting that new job ability that will lower blood pact timers, I just hope it doesn't suck. Better BPs is all this job really needs now. Not spirit adjustments.
BLU- Loves to use mob's skills against them. Needs more Blue Magic points though, how in the heck are we supposed to get all these spells and not use 80% of them? Although 80% of them are trash, and there are moves out there that are dropped for better moves, I would love a Benatic Typhoon to have its def/mdef down effect last the recast timer though. And be more accurate.
PUP- Loves to....be a clown? Seriously, they need better gear that doesn't look like they belong under a tent. Nuff said.
COR- Loves to be a "pirate." Needs another gambling ability though. Something that can either make or break all rolls (make them all XI rolls or bust on them all).
DNC- Loves to dance. Need more females, not Galkas. Any Galka who uses AF, Relic, or Emp armor should be taken out back and shot. Seriously. Also, need a pole. I'll let others discuss what this job needs though.
SCH- Loves to complain. You guys are getting 2 badass spells. Stop complaining about not being able to outcure a WHM, or outnuke a BLM. Enjoy the fact that you can outnuke a WHM and outcure a BLM. Seriously.

Did you (infaking) really just complain about jobs being expensive? Money is just about worthless in this game. If you can't keep up with the price of consumables... just wow... Also, Nyzul is easy-peasy now. I have gotten a few people through fl1-5 with taking 3 people into zone while trying to get kills for early cure staff trials. It's beyond easy, even with 3, especially if you have a Blue Mage, which it appears you do, since you want the Nyzul WS for BLU. Get a RDM or WHM, a MNK/SAM/NIN/THF/WAR/DRK, and yourself, and as long as you can all count to potato, you should be able to clear floors 5 at a time.

i never had a issue when I played. I was barely resisted but I also was able to keep my magic Capped. RDM are BEST enhancers. then is their enfeebling this was to allow a better protect and damage en-spells get better with enhancing skill. They could use some melee skills to balance out the job. But all in all I had some of the "best" gear and still resisted. Gear helps but your actual skill levels help more. This applies to all jobs.

Wiki's information is lacking and misleading. And every one who has actual experience does not help. So evey time I try I'm stuck with a bunch of people who have never won before. Now I can't even find enoigh people who want to do it.

Every time someone says something like this to me, it never seems to come with actual suguestions of how to make money.
There are TONS of ways to make gil. A very simple one is convert crour and/or dominion notes. Selling those items gets you ~7k per item.
Level a craft. Cooking, alchemy, woodworking, and fishing have numerous items/consumables that sell super fast and net a good deal of money. Even some other crafts have some decent synths that you can profit off of.
Tele-whore. In less than a minute, you typically get 3k, of course with fluctuation from 1k to 5k, sometimes higher.
FARM. There are still THOUSANDS of things you could get with good drop rates that sell for decent gil. Even something as simple as a stack of wind crystals goes for 5k on my server. You blink and they've already sold.
Those are just a few examples of ways to make gil. It's not hard, but if you're just waiting for gil to rain out of the sky for you, you might be waiting for a long time. And these are all EASY methods I've given you, so don't say you can't do these either.

You guys left out there part where they need to be different colors!
No but really, big ridable rainbow wyverns is the last thing DRG needs. With the overwhelming amount of stupid suggestions for DRG, I'm quite shocked we're even getting a fix we actually need: more wyvern survivability.
If my favorite job ever gets shafted on a much needed fix for some BS "lols but it's cuter!" update, I'm dedicating myself to a lifelong pursuit of inventing a way to punch people through the internet.

rdm is the easiest job to land enfeebles on (well every 10minutes its blm). sch is the pain in the $$$ one to land stuff on (and im not gearing it, screw sch). when you have problems landing enfeebles (with capped skill, should merit it) then that's just the game being difficult. its ok to have a tough time landing slow2 and addle because they are really good enfeebles. paralyze is normally a 100% resist or an easy to land spell. if you cant land your debuffs just tell an eva tank to wear his eva gear more often. or tell your pld to get relic/empy sheild.
pld isnt broken they just expect you to get the shields. they gave us the shields so now they cant fix pld or people with shields would be even more invincible.
if you cant do Nyzul then get Almace and make darkness with CDC. you can do Light super easy (savage blade+goblin rush) so you dont NEED darkness if you're not a Main blu anyways. all the jobs are pretty good right now, only thing i do support is reducing the timer for Dnc curing waltz's. or at least separate timers for curing and healing waltz.

Here.
AoE farm ep mobs in Abyssea and collect the weapons that sell for like 7k each to NPCs (you will get about 4-9 per pull and it takes about 10 seconds to kill a pull of about 20+ mobs). In Altepa you can get a Tiger King Hide in about 10 minutes, which AH for 160k. Do that for like a week and you can pretty much afford w/e you need.
