You know, you could talk to your bank. They would set it up so they know that this 1 per month charge from Click and Buy every 30 days for XX.95 is going to be normal, and that they shouldn't need to flag it because not only have you authorized it, but you even went to the next step and told your bank that this will occur every 30 days for XX.95. Which you just did.

But that requires work, and nobody here wants to do that to make their life easier. That is why there is that 100+ page thread complaining about Click and Buy instead of actually trying to fix the problem. There are at most 50 posts that bring up serious issues about the new system and SE is going to actually correct it.

/sigh

Did talk to the bank. Said system doesn't work like that. Next you're say my bank sucks and I should change banks right? Or get an international debit or credit card and load that card with money and then use that to pay CnB.

Tell me, as a customer, how much work should i really have to do to pay someone when they're the ones that want my money?

Your tenacity in defending SE's silly customer service decisions just baffles me. Seems to me you're in customer service yourself, hate it, and feel that just because you think all customers are annoyances it's perfectly acceptable to jerk them around. Not saying this is truthfully the case but I definitely get an "the customer is always an a-hole" vibe from you.

Well that sucks, I guess you didn't talk to the right person, because I actually asked somebody at my bank (a national bank, not a local bank by the way) about this very subject and found out that most banks would rather have the customer tell them about payments from international companies that charge in a monthly basis. This talk was just this past Friday, so this information is still fresh. You could go the international prepaid debit/credit card approach, but your bank should still be sufficient for this cause.

About as much work as you are concerned with your money. If you really think that the company you are going with to pay bills is as fraudulent as most mobs say, then yes, that much effort will save you a lot of sleep, grief, and worry in the long run. If the company you wish to purchase their service has another method of payment, you generally would go to the path of least resistance. Yeah, I know, "why can't we continue to pay in the old method, yatta yatta" type of argument that most people will spout now, but you know what, the old method is dead, live with the new now.

I'm not defending anything. I'm attacking the mob mentality that most posters have against a company when that company has done nothing wrong. I'm pointing out reality because most people who are attacking against companies are obviously living in a fantasy world, and it is not FFXI!

Nope, I'm an accountant. I would assume to know more about banks, companies, and business policies more than the average user of this game forum would. I don't attack a company on their policy unless there was a valid reason to attack it.

You shouldn't get that vibe. I thought I turned by vibe to "all humans are always an a-hole" setting. Which is the absolute truth if you really think about it.
