What if they Increase the lvl cap too enter abyssea from 30 too 75 upon enter
It will create the old school xp party too actually play with new people and other people wanting too lvl other jobs & not only that they increase the xp gain outside of abyssea soo it will work out great.
What do you guys think?

It's kinda too late. If anything SE should alter exp caps so that lower level players can't get exp so rapidly in abyssea.

Changing the xp caps would affect outside of Abyssea too much I think. To me it seems like they tried to at least slow down the leveling of 30-75 by decreasing the amount of xp per Dom Op page but that couldn't compare with the vast wave of xp being generated.
For now I think that there isn't much of a need to change the cap. If someone wants to play an old school party then they can find some other people who do too and make one or even form their own party and just dictate going to bird camp.

There was already a thread about this already, the OP ended up getting flamed to heck and back, then another round trip thru heck, and still ended up leaving the forums (haven't seen him since forever) because too many people were against him on this idea. You really don't want to start this all over again....

Grounds of Valor Alliance parties,they are like ghetto dominion Ops parties.. besides I don't think t would do any good. I am sure everyone has had their fill of burning the crap out of their jobs.

This thread has been done 3-4 times. We used to actually talk about this back before we were more concerned with whether or not we were selling our souls to Click'n Buy, or considering the Playspan option that nobody actually talks about.
The conclusion was that it's impossible to convince people that they shouldn't get a free hand-out in terms of EXP. They're might be less QQing with GoV available, but a quick search of 30-69 will yield a list of people with a percent of them in Abyssea. Abyssea is faster leveling, Abyssea sells product for SE, Abyssea is all the reward of RMTing an account but without the ToS violation, so drop it.
SE never did anything about AFB, so fixing Abyssea is a foregone conclusion. Pages upon pages were written about the subject, and SE never said anything, one way or the other. This says a few things. It says that unless they say no, it means yes. It says how you get gear is one thing (Salvage Dupes), how you fish is one thing (botting), but how you get EXP in an RPG is another. Nerfing buffs and fortification exp in Campaign Battles were fixed, but for some reason, leeching in AFB, GoV, or Abyssea are not. The consistency overwhelms me :rolleyes:
Whether or not SE does anything about this will be determined in the next version update; it's a major leveling update. Unless SE nerfs Abyssea and GoV this very update, leeches get an unspoken blessing from SE. Unless they change something, paying for a spot in a Fell-Cleave party is fine, going AFK in GoV or Abyssea is fine, AFB has been fine for awhile now. That doesn't mean it's right or wrong, it just means legitimate leveling is an idealist's pastime; it's there if you want or need it, but cheating gets you there just as fast but without trivial details such as time or energy spent.
I'm never against discussing anything of any kind about FFXI; post away, by all means! But this thread doesn't offer a new perspective, or any reason why this is relevant now.

Too late now, far too many have capped out the jobs they wanted to level and fully capped out merits.

Too late now, because changing it now would only put new players at an unfair disadvantage. They would be the only ones who hadn't gotten their jobs keywhored in there, everyone else who wanted to do that already has done so.
Personally, I don't want to be in there more than I have to, so i exp normally, or lately, did GoV alliance burns. It's terribly boring, and I wish SE had actually tried to be innovative in ways of increasing non-abyssea exp gain, rather than just bringing Dom Ops out of there.
The sad thing about it is of course that a good oldschool birds party can actually pull more exp/hour (should theoretically be able to do over 50k/h now) than an alliance doing GoV (limited to 40-ish k/h because of mob repops and running most places), but it requires too much thinking, and decent gear, so people don't care.
I would have much preferred it if instead of GoV, they had just made chaining normal mobs give a larger exp bonus, and increasing the chain timers. Maybe also exp bonuses for doing SCs!
Before GoV, i was usually trioing with a couple of friends and were doing 20k/h or sometimes a bit more, and it was actually fun! Now, it feels like a waste of time when you can just zerg terribly weak mobs for a lot more exp. I wish they would make that worthwhile again.

I think that there's nothing stopping you from killing bats/beetles in garbage citadel if you want to do it that way, just like there shouldn't be anything stopping me from AFKing in abyssea occasionally turning in ops if I want to do it that way.

Abyssea needs to stay the way it is so people can quickly level the jobs they don't want to play so they can get the gear they want for the jobs no oe lets them play.

I dont wish 5k an hr pts on anyone. And I leveled ALL the jobs in game to 75 BEFORE abyssea game out.
The game isnt about the exp grind. You don't have to play with noobs. So shut the hell up.

Abyssea will always be that great leveling tool i really don't understand why some people seem hell bent on trying to put a stop to it. Foolish men/women.
