So the only update notes we are getting is click and buy maintainence?

Every job has had their turn at getting developer insights into what the update has for them, they announced WoE and GoV updates, and the update probably isn't for another month. Give it chance lol.

If the level cap increase isn't until September, then they need to say it isn't until September. However, the last communication we received on the date was that it would be in August. Under-promise, Over-Deliver is the business catch phrase. If they are pushing it back, we should be told.

Oh look, another day with no update notes or teasers. But HEY, in some unmentioned future update, we're going to be able to access our storage from any city. Look forward to that in 2013!

atm, I wouldn't mind notes about either Payment Options or the FFI Version Update.
You're right, it would be nice to at least know when exactly the update is going down, and more details about what we can expect, but from the looks of it, I'm guessing not for awhile.
As far as Billing Update Notes (which they did say they'd do), today is the last day I was expecting them to do anything, while still providing us with enough time to go through the procedure. Anything after today is pushing it to the last minute--if they do anything that actually fixes the problem at all. After today, I think we we have the right to be a little anxious, and grow more anxious about it each day.

Expect an announcement about the version update timing some time very very soon!
In the mean time, here is a small teaser:
We snatched an image of a new monster that is to be introduced in the upcoming version update.
You will be able to meet this little bugger as you progress through the Voidwatch system. I guess he really isn’t too little, eh?

Voidwatch in Qufim hmmm? That thing looks familiar, like something i saw on FFXIV, but man, He looks like he'll be difficult to fight...
Well it's good to know that it's not my computer being wacky when I see the sky sometimes with that weird matrix like pattern for clouds or whatever... gets on my nerves. I'm talking 'bout the second picture's sky. It seems to only happen during thunder weather. Not really interested in the voidwatch stuff, though. Had my fill of that gameplay style and then some.

I'd say the drop system is fine just need a way to "pool" a drop you don't want/need.
As it is it is a very earnest attempt to reward every player individually, but falls on its ass when you realize Career-WHM A has gotten 4 Radiant F mails while the WAR/DD hasn't gotten 1. The Ability to pool a drop you don't want/need won't break the damn event :(

The pendulous nature of my man-breasts aside, it's cool that the unique and threatening monsters in Voidwatch actually look unique and threatening.

Yay, they're bringing back the mantis mob! I forgot which other games had that, I think FFVIII and FFIX did? I'm not sure anymore, it's been a while XD
And it doesn't look like a scyther, it looks like a preying/praying mantis that got hit with godzilla juice. <_<
I'd say the drop system is fine just need a way to "pool" a drop you don't want/need.

If they let us pool drops, I doubt they'll keep the same drop rates for anything good. An LS could take 18 people for 18 chances to get 1 person the item, etc.

I'm not asking to remove the current system, You can still enjoy hoarding your own drops.
I meant that, as it stands, I feel that pooling should be an option regardless... No fun doing an event 20 times for 1 item you never get, when the other guy has tossed 4 of them. It should not be mandatory but how is using a Linkshell to help a linkshell member something that should be considered against?

This is why I suggest a "Token" system, instead of "HERE WHM MAIN WITH ONLY MAGE JOBS, TAKE SOME RADIANT MAIL FOR FUNZIES"

The funny thing about the dev team is they made Abyssea and stated they wanted things to be all lowman from now on cause of low playerbase, making sure it was content for everyone. Now they are going back to the old ways, more Voidwatch stuff 90% of players wont do (be it cause they don't want to join a big ls again or cause the loot system sucks ass).
Nice mob, nice job putting it in a crappy event almost nobody does. I swear the old dev team/director pre-abyssea is back in charge.

16-bit color textures, yo. It's strange how the sky texture quality is so varying though. You have some textures that look good, then some that are in more recent areas that are awful, and then some others from the same time in development that look great again.

You can have a challenge with out needing 18 people. Thats what I want, not to gear people I couldn't care less about and only taking them since I need the bodys.
yeah but if its not a challenge without 18 people, we'll just go in with one more than is necessary and complain about how easy it is.

You can restrict the number of people that are in the party before popping. Can just give a message saying unable to pop if more than one party. Nobody outside able to interfere too. Lowman doesn't mean mnk and whm, just a balanced party.

I do agree it is pretty senseless to force people to not share loot though.

However... I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't truly jealous of Camate's ability to attach images and videos with the smexy java-enabled "Faded background" stuff with "Next/Prev Image" functionality and junk!! /gasp
