Hiya peeps



Just returned from a long break for ffxi over 2 years!!! lol. Anyway im starting fresh and wanted to find an LS that was friendly and would help me out with sum questions i have. I have read up on all the changes. seems like lvling has changed alot sence i played, more solo friendly iv noticed. looks like after 30 tho that new abyssea stuff helps lowbies lvl fast, which is fine but like the title says ima old dog just looking to learn new tricks

Well just remember this. Everything you knew from the game before is gone. Its rediculously easy, everyone (even those who have only played a week or so) has godly armor and gear with 0 skills. There is no challange so dont worry about strategy, its something of the past. Remember to make use of /blist, especially on Asura, as there are sp many trolls its as if jeuno was built under a bridge. You can lvl from 1-90 in about a day or so, so there is no time wasted there. Very few ppl even bother with standard gear at low lvls, get used to seeing lvl 40+ ppl in lvl 1 event gear. Be sure you have tons of gil since you cant really do anything without being charged anymore unless you find a really good ls ur screwed and will most likely end up supporting rmt just to get by (esp if you are a mage class since the price of spell scrolls has gotten completely out of hand). And just enjoy ur time until the game collapses in on itself.
