Hello All,

For years it has been that if a party leader was AFK for whatever reason you always seem to invite someone, in the past it was typically due to d/c or something of that manner, but now we have people going afk on purpose in abyssea and while doing trial of the magians camping NMs. My suggestion is this, add a new command to request party leader and have it pop up as the dialogs for Raise and Tractor do, with a Yes or No. Now this alone doesn't help much but add a timer for 60 seconds. Which should be more than adequate enough time for the current leader to hit no if they are not afk.

What do you guys think? Helpful? Waste of Time? or Best Idea Ever?

If a PT leader is afk, you simply disband and reform the pt. Nothing hard about that, it has been done for years. What you and all the others on these forums want is features that are more or less a waste of resources. Could you people stop your attempts to make this game more like WoW?

It's annoying when leaders go AFK.

However, one would have to put a reasonably long timer on such a feature, so as to give the leader enough time to get back from AFK. It would be just as annoying for the leader to have to deal with clicking "yes" or "no" every time some troll wants to harass the leader.

It would be nice if a leader could appoint a lietanant (sp) when he needs to go afk. Like a sub-leader who can add/remove party members, except for the main leader.

I mean no disrespect, but why can't you just skip the posts that annoy you so much?
Rather encourage players into sharing their ideas and add yours in to the mix.
I see no good in trying to stop them.

That's of course just my opinion and you are entitled to yours (just like everyone else). :]

As for the topic, it would be convenient fer sure, and I see no reason to be against it at all, but I don't see it as very much needed, either. If it would not be a grand feat to implement, I don't see why not, but as Symbiote mentioned, disbanding and forming a new party should almost always work just fine and for the times when it is not an option, well, the Party Leader should not be AFK. ^^;
