How to Add Crysta (http://www.square-enix.com/na/account/crysta/charge.html)
Link courtesy of Revan from another thread -- should cover the basics.

You don't make a "crysta account." you just buy crysta and choose it as your payment method in your square enix account.

If you don't have a square enix account yet, then, well, that's what you need to do.

Click the big red button on the left side of the official FFXI site to get started.

Can we use crysta to buy things from the square enix store? Or is it only for paying monthly subscriptions?

Can you use a Visa card through Click and buy> Crysta? cuz its sayin my card isn't valid. I hear most CC companies flat out dont work with click and buy because of its slim shadiness.

You don't go through click and buy to get crysta. You use PayPal or Ultimate Game Cards. Select Crysta as your payment method, and on the Square Enix Account page's sidebar, click Add Crysta to charge your account.

Do not sign up for click and buy or give them your credit card if you don't intend to use them, because it's a pain to close a clickandbuy account.

If you're in the US, I guess their pretty easy to find. I hear that most gas stations/7-11 stores sell them, probably EB Games, Best Buy, etc.

I still have not found a store that sells them in my city yet, but I live in Canada.

found out they sell them in wal-mart too. so if you got a wal-mart try the check out lines.

Yea, a whole bunch of stores have em. My local Wal-mart doesn't though; at least not in the electronics department with all the other game cards.

That sucks. I just got back from my wal-mart (In America). They weren't at the check out lines but they were in the electronics section with the computer games. Also, the ultimate game cards look....very very kiddie. Like farmville cards.

What, did you want them to be dripping with blood and gibs or something?

The primary audience of game cards are people who don't have credit cards, e.g. teens under the age of 18. Also, ultimate game cards are useable for a whole bunch of games. They can't look like any specific game, but yet they need to be "visible" in some way in the display. If you know how to solve this, then feel free to apply to their marketing department.

Lol no didnt want it to be dripping in blood. Just that the name of the card and how the card look did not match AT ALL.

Is just me, or is every post by Alhanelem (at least those that I have read) either dripping with sarcasm, or flat-out saying that people lie? Or both, even.

He is either trolling or just incredibly annoying. I skip over most of his posts.

Neither.

For one, not that I usually use sarcasm, sarcasm is not trolling. Trolling is when you specifically post in such a way to provoke certain people into reacting strongly.

flat-out saying that people lie?If I see something that looks false to me, there's something wrong with saying so and asking for proof?

I'm not capable of reading emotions in text and it's something I have trouble with in voice and facial expressions in real life, due to a disability. So excuse me if I seem blunt most of the time. It just comes from a combination of the disability and the environment When you've been through what I've been through, it teaches you not to trust anyone easily.

That being said, if you're going to be that childish and immature, I guess I'll have to skip over most of your posts too, Runespider, because it seems like you like to spend a lot of time criticizing me. By publicly posting unfriendly things about me almost as if I wasn't there, you yourself are guilty of trolling (And look, it worked- I reacted to your insults)

Hmmm, they got quite a wide distribution around the world for those cards, but as I always figured, not in the EU (save for UK and some others maybe, just checked it and already forgot!) but I probably wouldn't like using them anyways so meh!

From how I see it, he means no sarcasm nor harm, neither disrespect or rudeness.
Just being honest.
This can often seem blunt as he mentions himself, and I actually get the same reactions quite often myself so I'm more than used to it.

I might have seen a few more posts of him, too, and been dealing with him a bit due to the wikki-work. Not saying I know him, but I do know that 'trolling' him likely wont prove to be exciting at all, though the whole idea of 'trolling being fun' pretty much eludes me...

Need it be said or not; I'm not trying to defend him, he needs that not, merely answering the question of a fair lady.
