- What level do we expect the enemies to be? Is the content scaled to level 90+ characters? From the lowliest Quadav all the way to the mighty Dynamis Lord?

- How will relic armor be dropped?

- Will the requirements for earning a relic weapon be changed?

- Will the requirements for upgrading a relic weapon be changed? Could it be changed to something in line with the Gjallahorn and Aegis?

- Is there a way to allow for entire linkshells to go in and have fun? There are still a few large linkshells on various servers who gather for this event.

- Will the other Dynamis areas (the ones associated with Chains of Promathia) be changed as well? Or in a future update?

- Do you expect an alliance of people to fell the mighty Dynamis Lord?

- How much time will we be able to spend in this new Dynamis? Will there be time extensions, and if so, how will they work?

- What are the requirements to enter this new Dynamis? Previously, it was earn Rank 6 in any city, plus be level 65 (or greater).

- Will there be any Atma-like buffs?

- And finally, the question that I like to ask all the time: What does the automaton part Tactical processor do exactly? I've asked my moogle using the Jack Bower technique, but he seems to be pretty resiliant against that...

My biggest question about the new dynamis set up is WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU GUYS THINKING?

What I'm wondering....Mr Vadreucant, is why you felt it necessary to necro-bump a 2 month old thread that had no replies in it?

Hate the new dynamis much? I did it today and even though I didn't get any TE (I was DNC/NIN soloing) I still had fun and AF armor seems to drop like candy off standard mobs. Got BRD and RNG in Dynamis Sandy and the Easy Prey mobs were very easy to solo.

Besides, get a group to kill NMs....they seem to drop 100 bills pretty easily, and there's your answer to lolRelics.

Some answers:

Most all of the monsters are, if careful, soloable by a 90. I even killed the WHM NM solo 90 BST. Most of the regular mobs con EP with some various evasion and defense changes. The Vanguard Dragons in Xarcabard even only con EP, low evasion.


- How will relic armor be dropped?

To the alliance which killed it, otherwise normal.


- Will the requirements for earning a relic weapon be changed?

Gonna have to be if the coin rate isn't changed.


- Is there a way to allow for entire linkshells to go in and have fun? There are still a few large linkshells on various servers who gather for this event.

One alliance at a time. Basically everything now drops as in a normal situation -- to the alliance/party who killed it.

Everyone can go in, but drops could get a touch sticky with the alliance limitations.

Probably future update -- August?

From what I've read in the .dats, there's even an "Arch Dynamis Lord"!

60 minutes to start. Time extensions can be gained through killing certain monsters to get key items, but each key item can only be gotten one time -- maximum additional TE's: 60 minutes. 2 hours maximum.

For example, at least one TE in Xarcabard is an Icon Prototype near where our LS used to camp initially.


- What are the requirements to enter this new Dynamis? Previously, it was earn Rank 6 in any city, plus be level 65 (or greater).

50K gil purchase Permanent Key Item now, I don't think the other requirements you listed have changed.

Some other things:

-- Killing a pet's master despawns the pet.
-- They're very quick on their 2 hours.
-- If all members on a hate list die, the opponent despawns to prevent MPK.
-- Beastmen/Demons link with each other, but not with statues or eyes.
-- Eyes do NOT spawn anything in Xarcabard, at least what I saw. Neither do statues.
-- IMPORTANT: They are no longer True Sight and Sound. But both Sneak and Invis must be up to prevent detection.

Not true. Invis only worked in Jeuno. I'd imagine sneak only might work in Bastok.

We killed DL with sam, sam, war, thf, dnc, brd and smn 3 weeks before the update, so yeah.

Cool my LS hasn't even bothered with it since 85. Everytime we went in there we would vote if we wanted to keep farming af/currancy or go for the ring mantle needless to say we have way more people wanting more shots at rdm hat then for those lol.

Top LSes zerged it down with 10 or less at 75. My LS did/does it with 7 @80/85/90.
