So, after some researching, I am will aware that a lot of us main BLUs/people who love the job in general, have ideas what we will be expecting. Now for the real question, since you Dev Team Reps, have been so nice to posting what other jobs may be receiving. I would like you to shed some light on what we can expect of what our new spells will do. We will be receiving a phalanx type spell that is based on blue magic skill? Protect and Shell maybe? More physical then magical spells or vice versa next update? Come on, I feel neglected by the Dev Team. :c! Unless I may have missed anything they might have said about BLU, I have made a post just for you, Dev Team. :D!!!!!!
Just gonna say, can't wait to see dozens of blue mages going suiciding to get Spike Flail!

Spells:
Dark Orb (or Mist) from Gargouilles
A gaze very similar to Jettatura/Doom.
Heavy Strike from Golems.
Thunderbolt from Behemoths.
Water Bomb from Poroggos.
Harden Shell from Adamantoises.
Frozen Mist from Ruszor.
Sudden Lunge from Ladybugs.
Barrier Tusk from Marids.
And... a spell that looks like the BLM spell Death.

Like I mentioned, I already know of what spells have been expected from the files found. But I would still like to see what SE plans to do with some of them. Like Harden Shell, I wonder if it will be Protect and/or Shell, Phalanx, or just a straight defense boost like cocoon. Also, their may be some things that wasn't added into the .dats from the last update that SE might have planned. We never know.

I could of sworn one of them looked like Crystalline Cocoon, and I am really hoping that is one to come, if not I will be sorely disappointed. Since alot of those sound completely and entirely worthless.

I really hate the fact that they tell us nothing about Job Traits and we just wait a week for someone to figure out if anything makes Auto-Refresh II, MAB II, Clear Mind LX, DW III, etc, etc.
Other than that, and I've posted this elsewhere, MAB II in traits and Phalanx in spells please.
PLD, SMN, and RDM get Phalanx, two of them can be cast on others, I don't see it being detrimental to balance in any way, since it would only really allow people to sub something other than RDM for Charged Whisker burns.

Those wyrms dont flail.

The one that looks like Crystalline is Barrier Tusk.
Worthless? Eh.. I see it more as filling in the -ga line SE's been working on for BLU.
Light = ???
Dark Orb = Dark
Charged Whisker = Thunder
Frozen Mist = Ice
Thermal Pulse = Fire
Leafstorm = Wind
Water Bomb = Water
Earth = ???
Barrier Tusk looks like the long awaited Pro/Shell, Sudden Lunge and Heavy Strike look like they might be something interchangeable with Vanity Dive and Harden Shell might be a second Cocoon or a Phalanx spell if SE decided to change the properties of that TP move.
Thunderbolt seems to be the sole spell that stumps me. BLU has had AOE stuns in the past on both the physical (Frypan) and magical side (Temporal Shift). Frozen Mist will come with added effect: Terrorize which translates to another stun so what could Thunderbolt be hoping to accomplish?
I'll just assume they'll be changing that spell to serve a new purpose or it'll have a faster cast time than Temporal Shift.

When I saw Thunderbolt, I was more like "ugh.. why?" Because charged whisker was already enough, imo, a powerful thunder spell. I was hopeing for another strong, magical, element.

To be fair, Behemoths have little else to give.
Wild Horn and Kick Out are pretty vanilla and Flame Armor is pure crap. The only thing unique would be Ecliptic Meteor which is only on the newer Hadhayosh-skin Behemoths.

True. I guess we can wait and see how everything turns out. HOPEFULLY, a Dev will come in here and give us some ideas of job traits we can expect or something. Anything instead of "KAY YOU ARE GETTING NEW BLU SPELLS!"

For BLU though, the entire job rides on spells and that's the info we got.
Telling us what job traits we might get might spoil new traits they have in the works. It'd be nice to know but they'd effectively be spoiling other classes reveals.
