Question about ffxi ultimate Abyssea Bonus item

my bf agree to buy the dowload to get me the bonus item. How do i get the item or where do I put the code in. It is for my current account. I play on the 360, but he is willing to download it if need. any ifo is great cuz i can't find any.

On the SE account page, choose the "Select Service" button near bottom on the left. Choose "FFXI" then "Add a service accout" button. Boxes for your code will show up, enter the code then it should give the option of which account you want to apply the code to.

Reward code redemption could be something else they are moving to the SE Account Management portal also, so if you can't get to it in POL, poke around under your SEID to see if it's in a similar section.

@ RAIST umm all them pages are blank. and ps3 don't have google. But i looked that up a ton of times. XD only gave me sites who had it advertised.

you dind't state whether you were unable to find it in the POL system or what--specifics help alot when trying to get help with a problem. That is why when you post on a technical issue, the ask for a crap-ton of details, including what you have done to try to remedy the situation.

The pages and field were there last night when I was poking around in there because of an issue I was researching with my account, but I haven't transferred. If you can no longer find it in the POL system because you've done the transfer, might have to wait for a guide to be published on how to do it with the new system. Unless someone has a walkthrough for SEID path (or is willing to make one one off the cuff here), all we can point you to is a published guide with the old system to give you an idea of what you are looking for in the new system.

@riast....... for someone so smart you can be thick at times. Did it cross your mind that i post on this forum ON my ps3? I've also said it a few times. Really though. You can do with the insults. I know how to search for stuff. I just didn't know I had to put the code in the option the nicer person gave. I also acess said link from my ps3 and all the posts was blank.
Only time I use the home laptop is to play ffxiv. Since I got a limited time frame of playing.

Anyway I got the item any mod can lock this thread :)

My bad, forgot not everyone picks up on sarcasm that well in text and it tends to offend some of the more sensitive people because they miss it. Too many years on the stage I guess, I almost always read things with expression.

And no, I never made note that you are browsing on a PS3, as it really has no bearing on anything anyone has posted until now. You are using a web browser to browse a site where you are typing data and submitting it online. In other words... you are capable of searching google, using the search feature up in the upper right corner of these forum pages, or looking things up on ffxicyclopedia. Just struck me as odd that someone who says they do the research and are good at searching couldn't find the info is all. I happened to find the first guide on google real quick. I found the second one even faster using the forums search engine (it's on the first page in the Items section, btw).

Just out of curioisty, I just ran a search on google in another window and it auto-filled as I was typing and it quickly displayed "FFXI Destrier Beret Square enix Account" and the TOP result it automatically pulled up without me even hitting the enter key was the thread with the walkthrough. Just saying, it didn't take much effort to find is all.

And as I stated in an earlier post--in the future, to avoid confusion and get more accurate and helpful responses on something like this, include some info about what you have done already. If you would have posted a simple statement that you looked where it was supposed to be in POL and the pages were blank now, that would have prompted most people to look for or draft a how-to for finding it via the new system and all the drama would have been avoided. Not everyone has converted over just yet, so in a general sense we are still kinda thinking in two directions on some of these issues: POL and SEID.
