I'd just like to ask where people should direct the class action lawsuit for the mass double charges and other Shady financial activity's SE seems to be currently doing?

You can't really jump straight into sue-mode. You generally need to give them documented notice (to the correct address) that you've been double-charged and give them a fair chance to fix it. If you want to find other people who are angry, Alla's general forum would doubtlessly oblige.

Well they seem to have completely disregarded any real form of customer support. While having large numbers of people having various problems with them financially for what been going on for a while now. So seems like it gone past just giving them a "fair chance to fix it" and taking it to something they are held accountable to.

I'm just talking about what you're legally required to do before you can sue them. If you don't inform them there's an issue and give them a reasonable chance to resolve it, I don't think you have a case.

No one has set up a lawsuit to SE, and as byrth mentioned I don't think you could as long as they eventually pay.
Lawsuits are done when the money goes missing. They are just retarded about handling money and are slow to fix. But they do still fix them eventually.
Either way, with a big company like them, if you really wanted to pursue a lawsuit, you'd have to talk to a lawyer. Though I think they will tell you the same thing.

actually you can't , banks can't legally stop the charge because its listed as 1 charge not 2 separate charges indicating a double charge. basically have wait for it go through and then have it contested as a merchant thing. Also it been near impossible get hold someone from Se to have it fixed

Well, firstly lol.
I worked for Chase Risk Department for quite some time and this just simply wouldn't fly.
You'd simply get your money back, should you choose to charge back since it is a feature you do have available to use with your bank at any point in time. Doing so however, will end your business with SQE.
You would need to direct a lawsuit however, to their corporate office P.O. Will it gather any attention? No. Why? Because you as a consumer are not following the paths available to you.
You can also file with the BBB, but even then it won't matter. The only way you can file a formal complaint is assuming they refuse to assist you in getting your money back or offering you a method to use the money charged. IE, them not charging for the following month.
It's just fairly simple, you don't have a case against SQE for unfair billing. Double charges, are indeed Company issues. Sometimes even Visa issues. However, in this case it's either A: Call your Bank. B: Call SQE and figure out what they can do to compensate for a double charge. They more than likely won't charge you for the following month, and or simply credit your account back within 5-14 days (Business)
*To the above post yes this is correct. However, the only person that can drop this charge is the company. Your bank CAN drop the charge, if the merchant provides them with the drop codes for the charge. However, this is done by financial division, which you will -never- reach.
Just simply wait 3-5 days for the charge to post/drop. If it posts, then it's a double charge. I highly recommend calling the company first, your bank WILL file a Chargeback against the company, which can lead to problems.

May I suggest anyone reading and responding to this thread to read my experience with SE over the past few months.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/12519-Double-Charged-without-warning...-AGAIN!!!!
While I have no "formal" complaint logged in writing with the corporate offices, I do intend to write one now. It may take months to get any sort of help from SE but I'll be requesting they do something for the time lost and the headaches caused by what should have been a one time issue that was corrected right away. If anyone would like to join me, please write to SE's Offices and start the ball rolling on what could end up exposing some really shady business practices. While I'm not accusing SE of doing this intentionally, it is straight BS that these mistakes are all in SE's favor. Let's add to the laundry list of complaints, that SE's way of handling updating payment information charges you a dollar per account change (which I've never seen reimbursed.) And when billed the following month you are billed for the past month's usage as well as the next month making that dollar just vanish. Sure a dollar isn't much for each individual, but how many accounts update payment method every month?
