Dear Square Enix
I have played since NA release and did years of end game event; Dynamis, limbus, Hnm hunting, and many other event's. I joined FFXI as a hume female to play with an in real life friend who quitted long time ago and got hooked to the game, but over the years I stopped liking (or maybe ot bored) my hume female character and really wanted to try it different.Since I'm near cap on my hume on all job's, I'm losing interest in the game I worked so hard to get what I have and now... OK, the gears are easier to get, but I want to rerolled mule the ones (and without restriction) I worked so hard to get! I'm not up to refarm everything, it's silly when you've done all that before. Took me so long to get those Assasin Armlet +1 to name only one gear and I can't even mule it to my lv90thf tarutaru, I wanted to change race but if I remember corectly race/face/sex change aren't allowed or possible. So Please remove limit's on what you can send to "pol"/square enix acount's users so not only easy job changing is possible, but also race/appearance as well.
Also I'd like to know with the upcoming transfer your PlayOnline ID to a Square Enix account, could I link my wife account to my Square Enix account, so we could share our gears and to be relic/mythic/empyrean weapons together and enjoy event instead of stressing to know who will get what.
And please change that reward club to a scythe and or a great sword all jobs, giving out another warp cudgel was too cheesy. Asking for abyssea, lol.
Thank you in advance.

I think everyone is going to agree with you on our everlasting need of extra space, especially those who've been playing for years, what you suggested will allow the old players enjoy the game in a new way cos I'm sure each one of us from time to time had thoughts to lvl another race but considering the amount to redo everything from scratch i guess scares us away

Blizzard will offer something like this in upcoming Diablo III, meaning, if you have obtained a piece of gear, you will be able to use it on any of your characters from your account. I suppose the reasoning 'you camped it/evented it - you can use it even if you reroll as different race/class/whatever on your account' would be a welcome thing to do.
Being able to change character's race/appearance would be another thing I'd like to have option of doing.

Invader my friend, You should have named this Post Making a new character on Old account!
Seems like Fedora, Zirael and Darless understood and made constructive comments. As for Twille I wish I could say that your comment is useful, but it’s totally unrelated to the post!
Space wise, personally my mules were originally created to add extra space but they got converted into farming and crafting character with time. So no npc isn’t the answer to this post requests, she wants to play on her new race using all the main characters gears.
Basically the post idea is if understand correctly what you meant is:
We spend thousands of hours, months or even years buffing up a character with exp/spell’s/skills yes even before these easy abyssea and level sync lamo-patch that allowed people to become lazy and not know how to play there job’s correctly… and we can’t do simple task like change hair color, face, sex, and race… Anyway Square Enix already said they can’t let us do that basic change. Basically a character is born from a race, a face type and a size. Then you add one or many job, skills, magic, gears, sweat, energy drinks, cursing words, etc… The basic idea here is why is there limitation for account player we worked hard for these weapons, gears and spent so many wasted augmented items to achieve the desired items why can’t we mule them from character to character on same square Enix account? What So good about Square Enix account, security don’t make me laugh …lol
The requests here are:
Allow any quested item to be mulled!
Allow any augmented item to be mulled!
Allow any Trials reward item to be mulled!
Allow any artifact item to be mulled!
Allow any Relic gears and weapons to be mulled!
Allow all the above to be mulled from one POL Account to another POL Account that are on the same Square Enix Account, they are bounded together.
Not allowing these to be mulled is only adding redundant added value to this aging game…
A lot of players if not the majority of them invested a lot of time to get some if not all of the above items in the old days and got tired of their main character or simply wanted to play something different, so some created a new character. I only made a blm Tarutaru and a low level one on same account as my main mithra, but one of my friend started as a Hume female a fiew monts before I did back in 2004 and got bored after maat cap, and he made a tarutaru, a Galka, a couple of Mithras and elvaans to level90 to see what race he liked the best for now.
Using my sky, sea, salvage and various gears from Action house to gears up allowed me to play decently but not been able to use my augmented item, relics and af1+1 gimped me. I honestly don’t see why we can’t mule these and have to redo all that “Questing”. Most of these items are macroed to swap when needed only.
Redoing many of these is time consuming and depressing since it is only redundant value to the game. And Most of these gears and weapons have a history and a feeling of accomplishment, I’m sure everyone remember the first piece they worked hard for to get… Been able to mule it and play with it is more gratifying then requesting it and making it a LOL gear. EX gears should have a TOD instead of a limitation to gratify the user!
I’m sure a lot of people will agree with me, un-limiting these won’t hurt the game balance that much since most players will just decide to not redo these items on their second and third character etc, so In the END it’s only Square Enix that will lose money since these mules and possibly main character will get inactivated!
My friend already paused is account last summer and other friends are thinking about it aswell.
As for Diablo III, yeah it looks interesting I might play it instead.
And don’t go thinking it will be giving too much power to some people. Heck you got to re-level up, re-learn all spells, re-skill up and re-quest a lot of stuff.
So Please remove limit's on what you can send to POL and Square Enix account's users so not only easy job changing is possible, but also race/appearance as well. Many people requested Race/Face change option and isn’t a saying that the customer is the Boss?!?

It would be nice if all characters on an account could access the same Porter Moogle (and it be able to store the majority of Rare/Ex weapons & armour).

ITEMS not ITEM'S. Only use apostrophes for possessive nouns.

Make it 100$ per race change, 100$ name change and additioal 100$ per gender change and we'll have a base.
All other requests are rediculus selfish.

Otherwise it always has the connotation of: "I want to buy this character from IGE but I dislike that it is an XXX and not my favorite name."

So paying $300 to change your character model / name is supposed to stop people from buying accounts? I don't see the connection.

It won't but it will for sure decrease the event

OK, that made no sense. So back on topic. This would be a handy service. A lot of people made characters and didn't realize that they would be stuck with them for years. SE should implement this.

For 300$ servicefee - yes - otherwise it would be abused.
Since SE can't win the fight against a greedy playerbase - let them have a profit. :-)

Otherwise - reroll your char.
300$ is roughly what SE would charge you for round about 2 years.
Considering the current situation and the behaviour of your/our fellow players - so you'll safe 2 years of grinding, doing missions and stuff.

I think you should have to pay me $300 every time you post some nonsense like a $300 fee on a video game. Now that I think about it, you should have to pay me a $300 fee every time you post period.

Why? I just enlight you and you still want money? A bit greedy aren't we?

this kinda a repost for me but why can u add furnishing that add to 300 storage but only use 80. my theory is they want more $1 mules rather then let you access your gear easily. only good thing about muling gear within same account is you can maybe lvl a taru and move mage gear over and not have to request it other then that they trying to squeeze more money fromt he diehard gear collectors

80 is the limit because the PS2 can't handle more then 160 items (2 open inventories) at a time. And SE already added several additional containers in reaction to the increase of the amount of gear, as well as several gear storage options for less used gear.

Few MMOs come even close to the amount of storage that FFXI has, and none of them are hobbled by the PS2.
