View Full Version : Suggestions for Corsair

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this thread. I have been a player of Final Fantasy XI for several years now and one of my favorite jobs is Corsair.

I know that the development team is hard at work, but I would like to suggest some ideas for Corsair.

First, can the Quick Draw ability charges be increased? Currently as Corsair you can only hold two charges, but now subbing corsair the person gains the same amount of charges as Corsair main. I would like it if the max amount we hold is five; the same amount as Scholar main.

Second, our Quick Draw damage also suffers because a Ranger who subs Corsair has access to better guns and bullets. Could you please give Corsair access to better guns and bullets that only Corsair can you? Sometimes as Corsair the only thing I do is Quick Draw and I feel that I could perform better as Corsair using Quick Draw if I had access to some better gear to expand on my Quick Draw than someone who is subbing Corsair.

Third, could we please have some native Magic Attack Bonus traits? One of the things that help with Quick Draw is Magic Attack Bonus and it would increase my job efficiency if I could increase my damage with some Magic Attack Bonus Traits.

Fourth, please make it possible for Magic Critical Hit Rate and Magic Critical Hit Damage to work with Quick Draw.

Last, can you please make a separation of debuff of Light Shot and Dark Shot? I would greatly help out my job as Corsair if I was able to do Light Damage Shot and Dark Damage Shot instead of being forced to just Sleep or Dispel with Light and Dark Shot. This way I could chose to either Sleep or do Light damage with Light Shot or Dispel or do Dark damage Shot.
