Unsure if there's another related post; only glanced at first page.

Recently (Actually for a long time) while doing some NM's related to obtaining empyrean seals there have been numerous of them that seem immune, not resisitant, but immune to spells that may or may not have been the process spell required. Most of the time I create parties where BLU may not be in our hunting team but regardless - why are there seal NM's (or +2 items) that are immune at all to a possible trigger?

It may be part of the game design, but has anybody else come across this? If we list the spells and the NM's, and they're not intended to function like this...

Greetings Bubozk!

Thank you for taking the time to report this concern for us! I can certainly see how not being able to process the necessary color can be frustrating. I would be more then happy to submit this for you, however, I would like to ask that you please give us some additional information on this matter. Please fill out as much as you're able from the following template for us. Please be very detailed in the steps area, giving examples of a battle with the monsters name and the abilities/spells used. Upon receipt, we will submit this for review for you! Although it may seem as though this template is not necessary as it requests information related to your character specifically, however, the information you give might help find the exact cause as to why an issue may be happening.

Thank you for your time and apologies for any inconvenience!

I don't think there are NMs designed to be immune to particular yellow triggers, but some can be a pain to proc on due to their behaviour or resistances. Not bringing all jobs to test all spells will also work against you.

Some are very hard to proc (stop feeding TP, it helps), some are impos to proc on certain days, if the spell needed corresponds to their element.
Never come across one that was impos at all times.

Thank you GM Emdub
I will fill out the form later on but in the meantime:

Koghatu seemed immune to 1000 needles at one time. This is pointless now since the BLU spells have been changed but it was the first instance where I had issues. Changing to magical accuracy atma, using acetic's tonic, Apollo's staff, and magic accuracy gear didn't help either (at suggestion of party members).

Amhuluk Earth Threnody (Wind based) BRD90 capped wind skill (can supply numbers), capped singing skill (can supply numbers) , sub job was BLM and elemental seal didn't help. Also, elemental seal didn't help when stacked with acetic's tonic, and Soul Voice (BRD 2HR.) -->> Also it was wind day of the week; it should've had some boost on wind magical accuracy (no I wasn't using Furin Obi on BRD) but maybe it boosted the DEF of a the wind-based NM anyway...?

Gamayun immunity to Flash? Didn't land the spell once but this is probably related to having a low divine skill on WHM. (Divine @ 316 uncapped - whm90/sch45)

I've heard other people complaining about these also, but in the case of Koghatu at the time I humbly asked the person who kept saying "Not enough magic accuracy" to switch to their BLU and try it. They couldn't land the spell either. I know there are another 1-2 that have had problems but I didn't pay much attention them them at the time it happened. If I find more I'll update...

If it is true that some spells are "impossible to land on some days" then so be it. I encourage more people to reply with their testimonials but this was to inform in case some things weren't working as intended. Oh, and POIDH.

The following spells are affected: Flash, Dispel, Kurayami:Ni, all Threnodies.

These spells all share a common trait: no damage component and outright immunity against the debuff.

Perhaps allow these spells to ignore immunity when magic bursted? (If they don't already.)

Just adding some more info, I do believe that Div-e Sepid, Dvalinn, and Durinn are all either immune or ridiculously highly resistant to Dispel.

The worst ones have gotta be Amarok/Orthrus on light/dark day. Immunity to Kurayami, Light/Dark Threnodies, Flash, and Dispel... riiiiiiiight.

Also stuff like Bukhis being immune to Kurayami and Light Threnody.

And Gamayun being pretty much immune to all Threnodies + all debuffs including Kurayami and Flash.

There's a few other examples but it's mostly the Heroes NMs that resist light/dark at insane levels (it's hilarious that Ningishzida has higher resistance than Alfard btw) and harder NMs that resist their own element to an insurmountable degree.
