It has been "suggested" to put in a request via the forums here for a Destrier Beret, see apparently it was some promotional item for selling an ultimate edition of ffxi. my issue with this is during the course of the last year ive only been able to log on few times and usually just to update and get the new expansions, (and i gave FFXIV a chance but with all due respect thats a completely different subject for a completely different forum.)

Anyways ive been gone for almost a year now due to my job (which i wont be talking about for reasons which i can say are fairly important). I found out in the time ive been gone the level caps been raised again (nice going loving that  ) the abysea expansions seem quite well done (again loving that  ). Yet your handing out an awsome item like the Destrier beret (which can turn people into chocobos above all else) and an insanly awsome functionallity, to people who buy some ultimate edition.

At this point id like to say that ive purchased each abysea expansion individually (in itself meaning ive paid more) not to mention individually purchasing WotG, and the
Crystalline Prophecy , Moogle Kupo d'Etat, Shantotto Ascension, (though i just did sorry) aswell as paying the fees for the game for a year almost, with basically the inability to call and ask to have my account put on hold or to arrange some kinda set up that way.

My point here is while yes i can safely say that offering new players quite a nice deal to join is a good idea. And i can accept the fact that I have been unable to participate in any user events (and as such have missed out on those awsome statues for the mog houses id like to point out those always look great i love playing the events to get em.)
Or even that theres no program/setup to help players such as myself get back to the game when we have had to take leave such as i have.

That there is really no reason that i can figure out, that I shouldnt be able to have said Destrier Beret, yet acording to the GM in the game and anyone ive phoned up at the SE offices there is an issue with me having one unless of course i want to try and spend another 20 $ on something ive already purchased (for a higher cost) or try some other manners in aquiring one which would involve me breaking the TOS (which i will not be doing). Which finally brings me to where i am here posting in the forums as suggested by both a GM and whom ever i had talked to when i tried calling.

Anyways thank you for your time and please feel free to get back to me on this.

P.S: Before i forget to point this out i know this may seem trivial but at the same time im not the only one who feels that this is slightly unfair, and there are players i do know who feel this as a slight injustice also and would like to discuss this if possible

Again thank you for your time and please feel free to contact me on this.

Firstly, I would note that the 'SITE FEEDBACK' section is intended for feedback regarding the websites. ^^;

Could probably be moved to the General Discussion by a moderator.

And to the topic, it is quite ridiculous, isn't it?

I also have paid full prices for every add-on (twice actually), and I have bought the game at least... too many times.

*Looking at the boxes right now, the first one is the 7 discs one, containing the game itself, and the Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia expansions.
Nice artwork here and there and a 157 page instruction manual with pretty much everything there is to know, descriptions of jobs, areas, and more.
Large enough to fit those in, and a front that flips open to an image of Selh'teus by Amano Yoshitaka I believe.

*Then I got 2 or 3 DvDs with the same content to friends who never ended up trying it even (perhaps a little irrelevant). Cheap'o DvD case.
No booklet other than a quick reference card for the controls.

*I'm not sure how I got Treasures of Aht Urhgan, I think that box might be lost somewhere, or I got it via POL Viewer.

*Then I have the stand-alone box for Wings of the Goddess.
15 page instruction manual with few images by Yoshitaka. Also has short descriptions of the Beastman Confederate. Cheap'o DvD case.

*Then I have the 2008 edition with the game and the expansions up to WotG. 17 page easy reference guide with instructions on how to register the content. Cheap'o DvD case.

That's just the physical copies I have purchased (some of them MIA), I have since bought those add-ons, all full-price x 2, as well as the collection that came before the Abyssea-included one via Steam, which obviously have no artwork or nice boxing.

Not to forget the Security Token from the list, I am not going to even start to count how much I've put into just the game itself, and even less the monthly fees.

It is a bit sad how the digital market is seemingly overcoming the physical 'products' while the prices seem to be the same but well, it's what it is, and I digress.

I am not complaining though, I made my own decisions and some of them were unnecessary, but I was fine with it, no issues there.
I have also become used to with how they treat their players, releasing cheap'o collections so soon after the full-priced add-ons came out is nothing but a slap on the face and a 'haa-haa'.

I can't really care anymore, even if they start handing out special in-game items that might actually be a little bit useful and fun, to others but us who have been paying the most.

I probably wont be playing much (still might be paying though, if I can) if a certain friend will not come back (which is rather unlikely).

That said, I just wanted to add my thoughts and experiences and agree to that I sincerely think I should get something special, too, and then everything they are giving to the new people on top of that!

I've been rather optimistic all this time, and even now, when many are in distress by the change of the payment method, but I as well I'm losing my hope, perhaps slowly, but surely. =\

Well Dragoy as i said i was pointed here specifically by a Game Master in FFXI if they want to move it i have no issue about that infact it might actually mean that someone at SE was paying some attention to the issue i brought up.

As for the note about you gaining something aswell that just goes to support my point and it sounds like you do deserve something also.

Further more to Tsukino_Kaji that is the most epic and true signature ive ever seen and ive got to completely agree.

They actually pointed at this specific board?

Wow... well, I'd say they were mistaken but oh well, it's their board!
If they're really sure about it, then I just don't understand them.

Either way, I do hope the issue will be seen (I have no doubts it wont be) and taken into consideration.
