Will customers who pay via ClickandBuy be subject to any additional fees?
No, customers who have chosen ClickandBuy as their payment method will NOT incur any additional fees when paying for subscriptions.

However, if a customer chooses to store funds within their ClickandBuy E-Money Account (this is not required for SQUARE ENIX customers), they may incur the following fees:

Account Funding Fee
3.9% of any transaction into your ClickandBuy E-Money Account when using a credit card.
Withdrawal Handling Fee
$2.75 per withdrawal from your ClickandBuy E-Money Account
Maintenance Fee
$1.50 per month if a ClickandBuy E-Money Account has been inactive for 12 months and contains funds.

These fees can only be incurred when utilizing a ClickandBuy E-Money Account, and are not applicable to customers who only use ClickandBuy to pay for their subscriptions. For additional details on ClickandBuy E-Money Accounts, please visit the ClickandBuy website at http://clickandbuy.com/US_en/.

I went to look at my clickandbuy account, Not used sense I setup my FFXIV account only to never use it. Well my CC expired that I orginally setup. Now when I setup my new CC info I'm getting the following error, and I did some looking and many people have had this issue with FFXIV but the clickandbuy thing for FFXI is new.

Unfortunately the credit card details that have been entered are not valid, please check the credit card number and expiry date or alternately use another card. Please note that your credit card's billing address needs to correspond with the country you have chosen for your registration.

Card Number:
Expiration Date:

Are both in red, but I am looking at my CC and Know I am entering the number correctly.

I don't have another Card, I have no plans on going out and getting another CC just to play FFXI.

hmmm... this looks like something I ran into once with paypal a long time ago when Chase changed out the Amaaco Visa line to BP Visa. Not sure just how the C&B interface looks, but I would imagine it has something similar.

I had to add the replacement card as a new funding source, then change my primary funding source to the new card and remove the old one from the list of sources.

This may not work if you have the same card number on this one. If that is the case...you might have to get a new card issued with a new number. That should be your last resort though, as that would render you current card unusable until you get the new one in (it would basically be run through the system as a lost/stolen card). If it won't let you add this card as a new source, your best bet (I hate to say it) will be to try to contact C&B support directly.

Edit: this may sound stupid...but I've seen it get overlooked because of screwy field layouts, but double check the CVV code portion to make sure it is matching up.

So to get this working, I have to cancel my CC, Get a new CC with a new CC number, Call/update 8 different companies to my new CC info to play FFXI. Sound like way to much work.

maybe, maybe not. If it has the same numbers as your old one (sometimes this happens if they made changes to your agreement/features/etc and a new number gets issued), then you can't add it as a new funding source.

IF the numbers are different you can simply add it as a new funding source and switch the account to use the new number.

Otherwise---CONTACT CLICK AND BUY FOR SUPPORT. You are on the SE forums. SE has no means of helping you with someone elses application.

I had a terrible time with CnB's customer service before, but did you at least try calling them?

I had this problem back in the day when SE was looking to make money. Because the credit card number was the same it wouldn't take that number again as a valid option with a new expiry date. I had to phone them and get them to manually change the expiry date and things went on as usual.

Since then I have had to phone them for payment issues (adding another account) and they basically said they are no longer interested in helping people give them money so good luck. lol
