View Full Version : POl ID got canceled during transfer

I don't know if SE reads these forums anymore, but they've nuked my POL ID during the transfer. I'm now getting a LM-26 upon login saying I need an SE account, which I have. The account still shows my POL ID linked to it but it won't accept the POL ID / PW to transfer the account. I've put in five web tickets and each time when I get to position 1 I get a "no agents can assist you, try again later" and boot.

Did you put in your Square Enix ID into your settings in the PlayOnline Viewer itself?

If you already linked your PlayOnline ID to your Square-Enix account and you're being asked to enter your PlayOnline ID again to transfer it, you may be in the wrong portion. You should be clicking the "Transfer" button next to your linked PlayOnline ID (written in red), not the one below it.

And, of course, make sure you're using your PlayOnline Password in this portion, not your Square-Enix Password.

Ok I know your trying to be helpful, but I'm not exactly new to this. Of course I have my SE account inside my POL login, it won't accept your login without it. The accounts were linked and everything was working with my RSA key device until I attempted to transfer.

Already spoke with a SE representative, took me over 2 hours to get in contact with them. They checked and basically my POL account never finished the transfer. See what happens is your POL account is deactivated from the POL registration servers, then it's copied to the new SE servers, then it's reactivated. This normally happens automatically, but during my account transfer it glitched. POL account was deactivated on old servers, like literally vanished from FFXI Community site, vanished off FFXIAH.com type gone. But the data was never transferred to the new SE servers and never activated.

They reactivated it and reset the PW as it had become corrupted during the transfer. I waited 30 min for the changes to take effect and like magic the account transferred properly off SE's website. Activated all my ID's and now I'm golden.
