I have tried to TRANSFER my PlayOnline account to my SE account exactly as outlined in the instructions.

All i get is this error:

Because this month's service fees have not yet completed processing, you cannot transfer your PlayOnline ID.
Please try again next month.

Anyone Else getting this error? Can SE do something right for a change? It really can't be that hard, come on!

Well, they did suggest you created an SE account and linked your POL IDs ahead of time to make the process easier. Hardly their fault if you didn't take their advice, there wasn't any reason not to link them before now.

Say What? My account is linked since i got a TOKEN! I have had an SE account for a year now. I have NEVER seen the option to TRANSFER my POL account in the SE account manager before today.

THE TRANSFER OPTION WAS NOT THERE BEFORE TODAY!

Am getting the same error and my Se account been setup since they announced it for FFXI, i think SE is having issues

Edit: just notice the post about it. since i got cought up with the billing screw up at the beginning of the month am going to assume that is the reason.

So i cant transfer too, getting same error...

I need to reactivate my content ID every month idk why but i need to pay every month manualy (every time need to write my cc numbers etc.) idk why tho (i have always money on my cc). So there is question... if ill pay manualy (reactivating contend id) again in september ill be able to transfer? lol this is stupid ; ;

Anyone else having trouble with the second part of the process? The transfer playonline ID part. I click the link enter my ID, The one with the four letters and numbers. Than I enter my password. The same one I use to boot the game (no you can not have either of them >.<). But it says incorrect password. I have tried 5 times now and nothing. Is it something different than what I am using?

Anyone else getting this error?

Actually, no I wasn't, his original post made it sound like we was trying to link his POL IDs .. he edited his post and removed a sarcastic comment about SE which was partly what prompted my similar tone.

I'm also getting the error and I also got hit with the billing screw up at the beginning of the month. The same payment since NA launch and now there are problems... Hopefully August goes off without a hitch so I don't miss my item >.>

I got this error on one of my accounts too. This account went fine, but my main account that had the billing screw up at the beginning of the month gets the try again next month message.

[NA] Notice Concerning Transfers to Square Enix Accounts

This is an announcement concerning transfers to Square Enix Accounts.

Customers who have reactivated Content IDs, purchased additional expansions, performed world transfers, or made any other additional purchases during the month of July, will not be able to complete the transfer process until after the monthly maintenance scheduled for the end of this month.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.

reward says you have to transfer by august 31st, not july.

i´m having the same error.
every time i try to transfer my playonline id to the square enix account i get the same error message.
funny thing about is, i have 1 main char and 2 mules, the 2nd. mule i created was about 6 month ago!
i didn´t change anything in july on my account until i canceled my old playonlie account to start the transfer to the square enix account!

sry, about my gramma, speaking is easier than writing.^^

"thank you for your understanding"?? How about your incompetence!! Why would you put this kind of transfer process in place, ask members to use it, then when members use it, have it fail requiring emergency maintenance, and wait until next month to complete the process?? The requirement for emergency maintenance has almost become common-place with SE. And, your system security routines come into question as well. Password changes, for one, cause more problems.I just went thru a password change caused by your techs (they gave me a new password and told me to change it to what I want as soon as possible. Did so, and now I can logon to SE Account Management but not the game using the same new data. I wonder if my account has been hacked, AGAIN.

If you are referring to the Registration Server Maintenance, it happened every month, and the issue wherein you are unable to complete the transfer process is likely not due to only that, because then everyone would have to wait.
The account changes and the billing that has been going on related to the announced changes are likely tied to the RSM, and thus you need to wait until it is done.


Just wanted to point out that it is a regular, monthly maintenance. ^^;

I have a problem with Step 10 Setting up the PlayOnline Member List after the transfer.
I don't understand step 2 i follow it but no goo and i done with register+ transfer but i am stuck with playonline vierwer saying wrong id or passcode /sight

I would assume you will need to wait until the Registration Server Maintenance is fully completed, if I understood your problem right.


Lordscyon,

I'm thinking it is the first time you have actually registered a Square Enix Account?
If so, make sure you have selected it to be used when logging in to PlayOnline (look into the account options in POL Viewer).


If it's not that, then please, do reply so I/we can better assist. ^^

I am also having the same problem, SE even deactivated my Content ID, so i cannot even log into on of my characters because it says i have to transfer over.

because off this shit i can´t log in POL, i get a "LM-26" error there.

i just talk via faq chat again with the support, they told me the server is still not available yet...

they´re sorry, i just have to wait and tyr it again later... "like last time they had probs with their banking tool, i waited 2 weeks...!"

SE really isn´t any help at all...

Unsure how it would affect this but, yeah, the Registration Server Maintenance usually takes 2 days or so, and has two phases.

If not today, I hope at least tomorrow you will be able to finally do something about this.
I can imagine the frustration but hang in there!


This kind of problems might be one reason to the whole change of the payment system one might imagine. I only wish they had better options to choose from.
