So SE nerfed the Campagin changes pretty quicky I see

- An issue wherein experience points and Allied Notes are doubled for campaign battles under certain circumstances.
Bet those 'certain circumstances' happened in most of the battles and [S] zones will once again be deserted now the XP is back to worthless levels. :(

You might want to log in and try it, doesnt seem any different to me. Im guessing this was a rare instance where it was only a small portion of campaigners were experiencing.
