Welcome one and all! I see no reason to not lend my hand to help those in need of an Illustrator to help bring to fruition those pesky and illusive images swimming around in your mind. If you need it drawn, you've come to the right place! There's no charge for my services, so you don't need to worry about that. Signatures, Concept art for thread suggestions, and plain o'l character art are amongst the things you can request here.

At the moment, I'm the only artist on staff, so if I get flooded with request from here to Aht Urhgan, you'll have to just be patient with me while I weed through the madness. Why do this you ask? Hell, I'm doing it anyway with nearly every thread I post anyway, so why not?! Plus I love both FFXI and illustrating, so I can only hope to one day marry those two passions. Gotta start somewhere. Depending on my time constraints, not all images will be colored, but I'll do my best to make it presentable before handing it off to you.

Here's the skinny:
Simply describe in detail the best you can what it is you're looking to get drawn up. Illustration can be a fickle beast, so posting any and all visual reference you can find to help me do the job will help greatly. Here's a few basic examples for some Signature request.

• Image link 1 (front, side, views of your character with gear equiped)
• Image link 2 (view of your character with weapon drawn, close up of weapon/wpns)
• Description of what you would like to see your character doing in the image.
• Any text you would like to see included in the image.
As a rule of thumb, just try and be as descriptive as you can when placing your requests. Also, please try and be realistic with your request since I won't be able to fulfill every single request in a timely manner based on the possible work load that could come through here.

Other than that... y'know, no request that contain vulgar, disrespectful, demeaning, hateful, or extreme adult content will be fulfilled. Gotta keep it clean and fun! I'll post fulfilled request here, so I ask that any long-winded discussions be kept to a minimum to keep the airways open to house those good o'l requests. That or house the long discussions in the "Spoiler" feature. ^^ The Gallery page shows all completed images.

I know you aren't charging anything for the sigs, but it would be hard to say if Square-Enix would allow somebody asking for money on their website. Most likely it would be against the terms of service (probably in there anyway, something about not asking for any money at all and such).

I would like my sig to be me casting meteor (I have no pic for meteor but having it as a very big meteor rock falling would be great) with me having wings in flight (there are some of these pics in the album to help) and also in the sig when im casting meteor I would like my arm out with the staff (just like in the Hvergelmir album) and for the staff to be emanating with energy.

well, yeah, but usually (with most schools that is) the first thing any financial aid officer would look at is federal loans. Those are the "safest" loans that any student can make, because the government backs them all.

Plus, your Pell Grant is that, a Grant. Almost every student gets one just for going to college.

Also savings bonds left by grandparents. In going through the aid process I asked to avoid loans if it was realistically possible. There are also state specific aid programs designed for people who meet certain criteria.

Basically, i would like to be lounging against a tree in yhoator with a bowl of sake on the right side of the picture. With several pets in the picture doing tasks. Be creative theres lots of fun pets to choose from. Heres some ideas to work with. Dipper yuly dragging/flying away on the left side of the screen with my backpack, to put it away (its a heavy bag so she is trying extra hard). Flowerpot Merle is bringing me the sake gourd to refill my cup (its almost as big as he is!) My pet Opo-opo's Mae-Mae and Ono-ono could be walking side by side one with farsha and the other with Aymur in their tails. Bloodclaw Shasra could be curled up sleeping with my feet crossed and propped up on his back. Ultimately it doesnt matter, as long its me loungin with sake lookin like a wildman (make me look cool xD), with a buncha pets making the picture look active and lively as they do "the boss is home!" type stuff all on a cool jungle background.

I would like it to say ~The Boss is Home~
somewhere in the picture.
And of course my name somewhere "Gotterdammerung"

Yes, because you copied the address for the image, not the address for the donations. "Copy Image Location" copies the URL for the image itself, "Copy Link Location" copies the link that's tied to the image. These are on the menu when you right click on an image that is also a link in Firefox. IE may use slightly different terms.

If you can, I'd like the character to be blowing smoke from the exit tube of the gun (color: gold and black, design: any hexagun) with a cheeky grin and with a flattened mob (something bigger than a taru? lol) in the background... if that's all possible! Okay, so I finally made up my mind, and decided how I want to do the signature to represent my favourite (and primary) four jobs, which are Dancer, Thief, Dragoon and Monk. It would also represent my ultimate goal I've had in FFXI for a long time, which is basically getting these four weapons: Verethranga, Mandau, Twashtar, and Ryunohige. Of course I've already have Verethranga, and I've been working on Mandau at the moment, along with Twashtar. Ryunohige I'll start after the salvage update.

Anyway, for background, I would like it to be in Tu'Lia to be more specific, Ru'Aun Gardens. I'll post a screenshot of a more specific location later on, since maintenance is up.

Anyway, I was picturing that my picture would be sitting along the edge, looking to the horizon, the tower (and basically whatever else of Tu'lia) would be in the background behind her. Sasavi, the Wyvern, would be on the ground laying next to her with the head in her lap, and Suirieko would be petting its head (You can write his name above him). Ryunohige would be lying across the ground behind her , and next to her would be a pair of Verethrangas, and then there would be Mandau and Twashtar, stuck into the ground sort of forming an 'X' formation. Finally, in her other hand, she would be holding a golden apple of Eris, Goddess of Chaos. (Picture also included below). Finally, Only if it's not too much trouble, I would like to ensure that this would be in colour please. Thanks ^^/

Suirieko would be wearing the Charis Empyrean armor set. I would like the name "Suirieko Mizukoshi" written in the picture.

Since you wanted details, I'll throw them up on you:

I'd like the face to be more intense, the hair to be a little shorter (maturer looking) and disheveled. The eye to be hazelish, with some battle damage showing slightly beneath of around the eye patch (if possible.)

I want the face to be one of intensity and enjoyment, bordering on sadism.

My apocalypse will be finished soon, so if you can include this as my weapon I would greatly appreciate it.
I play this game because I greatly enjoy PvP and ballista, it is in fact the only thing that keeps me playing. I do not want a rook in the background at all however.



As such:

I'd like the pose to consist of my character tormenting/killing a mithran red mage with dark magic.

Drain, Some kind of abyssal blast, or darkness rotting effect.

I'd like my character to use the magic animation similar that kindred Demons use, holding the side of their head and extended their single arm outward towards their target.

However his hand and fingers should be turned towards him as if he is pulling life force out of the victim via magic. (Think Darth Vader) [f]
Extending your arm at a 45 degree angle, angling your fingers into a claw/grip: |__/

However in his left hand you can have the Apocalypse being dragged on the floor leaving a trail or indentation to show its large weight, and the 'lazy' single handed grip along the end of the pole section, that is being used during the casting of the spell.

Drain , some darkness, being hurt, on their knees, clutching their chest or something that shows a strong sense of pain. [Main Focus].

As far as Quote or text goes: Urteil, Dark Knight King
"Only with Strength, can one endure suffering and torment."

etc.


Some tasteful blood might be nice (if you decide to go through the drain route as its not an orb of red but a steam of life force etc.), or whatever you can - I'm not into this being incessantly graphically violent - just to get across the Player versus Player aspect.


If you want (and I would really appreciate this) maybe add one or two battered bodies of a blue mage or paladin off focus in the background. Whatever is possible as long as the picture doesn't get cluttered, the single human enemy would be nice.



If the above is too hard, having him doing the /jobemote WAR. Is wonderful too.
Don't feel like this is a checklist, I'm just giving ideas and by no means does it all have to be included.

Basically, full RDM empyrean minus the hat (Duelists hat yes please). Riding the chocobo with joyeuse pointed forward (the way I am riding towards). If possible, a sort of lightning effect around the sword. If you add a shield too, let it be Sentinal Shield.

I have an in game scale attached to my monitor with scotch tape so I can reference my distance and anyone else's at all times. Yalms, Malms and the lesser known Walm. Three different colors, I also keep it next to my Commodore Electronic Computing and entertainment system.

Would like the Masamune on the same side as Ochain like in the pic. Excalibur out like in the pic in the opposite hand of Ochain. First off I just want to say amazing work sir!! I could not be more impressed. I've been going crazy trying to figure out where everyone was getting those sigs. Glad I finally got to looking for the thread. Well i guess i better get my order in lol.

What I'm basically looking for is something like me on the right side of the sig with weapons drawn giving off a warcry so to speak (a feral howl i guess would be appropriate.) Throw some little fangs in there or something. we taru never look fearsome lol. On the left side have Bloodclaw Shasra letting off a charged whisker, lots of electricity. I cant really think of a background I guess Ill leave that to you sir. use the ferine armor except for the gloves. Use the ocelot gloves and use farsha and ridill as in pics. And throw my name in there, Visari, with the text "Drunken Beastmaster" (minus the quotations of course). Again thank you I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we are truly grateful for your contribution to the community. I shall be patiently waiting. /bow

What would I be doing
So basically anything along the lines of something like this (http://www.cbswords.com/images/acreed.jpg) except I want the person he is stabbing to be a DRK in full Empyrean armor and instead of the wrist knife I'd like him to be holding the Twashtar. I'd like him to be in town, like in Jeuno. Instead of his face so hidden, make it look kinda like in the screen shot. Make him with kinda a smirk on his face. As for some effects, could you make it look really stormy in in the back ground like a white and black wind. Much like what the effects of Rudra's storm looks like. Rudra's Storm 31-38 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjyKgesxEtM). Oh also, no belly stuff. Idk how but could you edit the armor's look so that it's covering my belly button and stuff... that'd be cool :D

Hey Folks, I'm gonna be working on a freelance project today that needs finishing so I won't be posting until maybe later on tonight, but I didn't want to leave you hanging! ^^ I put together some sneak peaks at the upcoming Sigs currently in the Art Oven taking shape. I would like my sig to be me casting meteor (I have no pic for meteor but having it as a very big meteor rock falling would be great) with me having wings in flight (there are some of these pics in the album to help) and also in the sig when im casting meteor I would like my arm out with the staff (just like in the Hvergelmir album) and for the staff to be emanating with energy.

The poster you can have me standing... but I would still like the wings.

In both the poster and the sig I would like the words: Incredibly tough Black mage

as for the background... make it a dark themed background (I don't mind whatever color you use... just don't make the theme light hearted I am a dark wizard after all lol).

edit: sorry one more thing in case it isn't clear. The pants im wearing are not part of the goetia set. In terms of the Gyms Thread having additional art, yeah there are sections I have yet to pair with illustrations, but at this point I'm not sure if sketches will suffice. I've had the idea swimming in my head for some months now about putting together an actual digital comic that follows a handful of characters as they experience each section the Gyms would offer. It would be full color and finished quality art vs the sketches, and I would post it for easy viewing both within the Gyms thread itself as well as on my personal gallery page. I just think it would be a cool project to flesh out ^^

Tell your friends they may be inspired to return and play again if they get a cool image of their characters lol. A request is a request here, so tell'em I'll be happy to oblige should they place one. :)

I have fallen in love with all the work you have done with the others.. So If I may, please accept my request as well. :D!
I want the sig to be.. My character running, as if running into a battle. Almace in right hand, my offhand sword at my side still, and my left hand sticking out from my side, with a blue aura, as if I was casting a spell. If you could, I would like my eyes to be, somewhat evil looking with a blue glow. I'll let you surprise me with the rest of any details you my add :D!! I noticed that you were doing some eye-level drawings, but the ones that are either from high or low-level are so much more dynamic. The low angle on DarkWizard makes him look so much more powerful and intimidating, which goes with the subject. I was hoping you'd do something like that one.

Also, the postures what your subjects are intriguing. Keep it up!

Nah, I think I stopped plugging in "Next to be Served" names when I reached the 20th request last week lol. I will update the list tomorrow though ^^ I'm gonna say the list has grown quite a bit since the last time.

To answer the newcomers to the thread, you're not too late to post your request as there's currently no set limit on the amount of request I'm taking.
