which is better

i know ya'll are probably sick to death of seeing threads like this, but i fail at math and i'm curious as to which is better on normal mobs that don't have special defenses.

twilight scythe or woeborn?

i have both, and the higher base dmg and +1 more str than twilight would lead me to believe that it is better than twilight on most normal mobs that don't have those special defenses that twilight nullifies.

any answers would be appreciated.

Twilight scythe. Even without the moves that absorb physical or magical damage, Twilight scythes unique ability also makes it not subject to the normal damage resistances that a mob has so you go purely off of player level difference, which ultimately gives it an edge over any other scythe. Plus death proc is epic fun on non nm mobs.

hmmm, oh well, i can still use woeborn for dark magic build. could be useful on mobs we don't melee i suppose

The occasional death proc would push twilight over woeborn but either way there basically equal.

Ballista (PDT/MDT, -Damage Taken Gear Enemy), Invincible Mob, or a mob with a damage taken modifer other than 1.0 - Twilight Scythe

Everything Else - Woeborn

Woeborn for most cases. I still have my twilight scythe for the occasional monster that requires it, but just for general DDing on simple monsters, use Woeborn. Just be sure you keep Endark going all the time or else you might as well just use Twilight Scythe. Woeborn is only better because it increases EnDark's DPS on top of it's higher DMG rating.
