Will we ever get our own forum avatars?

I know it's not a huge deal, and a vast majority are going to post inappropriate GIFs and whatnot... I am just asking if we ever will get the option to upload our own XD

At the very least, I would like an increased variety. We've been looking at these images of the 5 races and their various hairstyles for ten years now. I'd take some enjoyable SD art of the races or popular characters than the same images we've seen for years.
