I know that the dev teams are re-examining events in ToAU. I just wanted to add in a couple of things which came out of an informal chat between my shell members the other day.

We actually like most of the events in game right now. We've done a lot with Abyssea but as a group have done almost everything and we're working on filling the holes. We've tried ZNM, VNM, Abyssea, Dynamis new and old, Einherjar, Sea, Sky and much more.

A couple of points came out:

Nyzul Isle

We would love it if there were new floors for Nyzul Isle. Give us a Basement, reskin to look and feel darker/more abandoned and stick in some NMs which would challenge level 90+. If you need to restrict it, then make the completion KI for 100 the entry KI.

Limbus

Give us some new Limbus maps. The format of the event is fantastic but we can do the existing runs in our sleep and in fact we rarely bother. However, we like the format a lot. Alternatively, revamp the basement areas which are rarely ever farmed and make something nice and gribbly there to give us (in your terms) an 'Arch' Proto- Omega etc New bosses welcome of course.

Wow A+ haha

I enjoyed Nyzul Isle. It didn't last too long, you only needed 6 people for it, so party set-up time wasn't too terrible. There was more to it than just fighting; there were variations on lamp objectives, which entailed team-work and thinking. There were random buffs and pathos, and on rare occasion, free floors! Nyzul Isle was never boring; no two runs were never exactly the same. It was a case were "Random is fun" was actually fun.

If they don't extend it to even higher or lower floors, they can at least use it as a paragon of a well designed event.

What I do not want them to do is to revamp either event with all this proc-ing nonsense. I'm all for improved drop rates, but that's possible without standing around, twittling my thumbs until the mob doubly exclaims its staggered state.
