you guys are doing a fantastic job over there keep up the good work, however, with all the great new gear adding to the current gear in existence more than six lines oper macro would allow users to enjoy more of the fundametnals of battle this game offers. Why should i be out gamed by a PC user because he can use an app that allows more lines per macro. What about the xbox user? Give us more macro lines so we can enjoy all the hard work you guys have put into this game past, present, and future. Thx

i'm for this idea, and have been for years. problem with windower is not everyone is smart enough to grasp the concept of script writing (i for one am not, but the gui upgrade it offers is more than enough reason to use it imo). i actually tried to sit down and learn that shit, and i was still confused after about an hour of tryin.

here's the thing though, this more than likely ain't gonna happen. SE themselves have said theres issues with adding more macro lines, and they have no intentions of changing it. whether that's due to RMT being able to abuse it or ps2 limitations (most likely candidate, as it's SE's favorite excuse for everything) i don't know. either way it's something i personally feel needs to happen. if they can't do that then maybe adding a command line that will use another macro at the end of that one (though this could and would more than likely be highly abused).

yeah more macro lines would be neat, even if its only 2-3 more lines.

I wonder what's preventing them from adding in more lines? It seems like it would be something they would have done long ago if it was easy enough to implement? What are you guys throughts? Also, what do you think would be an acceptable number of lines for a macro?

Also, using <wait> at the end of a line instead of /wait on a new line frees up some space for those who didn't know about the former.

It would be nice if you could change every gear slot in a single macro.

I hate to bump threads but this one needs it.

Ok SE. How about it? Everyone wants more macro lines. We plead for it. We need it. I, personally, have to push 3 macros just to do a single action due to the lack of lines in them. My gear swaps, as any one else that is properly gear, include every gear slot available. Each time I want to do Quick Draw -> Wildfire? I have to hit a total of 6 buttons. Do you guys think this is a little absurd?

There are currently 6 lines to the macros, as you are well aware. This needs to be increased to 12-16 lines. Yes, we do swap out that many items at any given time. I do 12 pieces of gear + 1 ammo piece in my sets. If you are worried about the macro window getting too big, slap on a scroll bar.

I'm not too big on how the coding and inner workings of the game are, in fact, I have no clue what you guys do there. That's why you get paid and I don't. That doesn't change the fact that we, the player base, want and need this change. We need more macro lines.

as much as i agree with this as well, we're more than likely just wasting breath here. the dev team has already stated more than once i believe they have 0 intentions of changing this, for whatever absurd reason they said. we want it, we need it, but they don't really care either way if it's gonna make their job a pain in the ass.

They would rather waste time and resources on making a pathetic, novelty club weapon that teleports us to the most useless of places in the game (Chocobo Circuit.) We need more efficient functionality in this game and they ignore that fact to give us stuff we don't want or need.
