View Full Version : Pleasr adjust the spawn times for Ix'Aren(DRG) and Jailer of Temp.

Anyone who has done sea would most likely agree with me that, the most frustrating part about it, is trying to get Ix'Aern (Dragoon) or Jailer of Temperance to pop. An example? I just spent the past ten hours trying to get Ix'Aern(Dragoon) to spawn. The other day it took 18 hours (20, but I slept through two of them) for it to spawn with myself being the only person in the zone the entire time.

Most players in this game solo now a days to get things done. Or don't have the time to commit to these ridiculous respawn times. Back in the day, people normally did sea in a group and could kill place holders in less amount of time than the solo players of today.

I'm not saying make these a ??? force pop like most everything in abyssea. But maybe set their spawn times to something more reasonable?

Neither of those notorious monsters have a minimum respawn time. You should probably ask SE to increase the spawn probability.

haha yeah that's what I meant... Just was dead tired before I wrote this. Let me try again.

Ix'Aern and Jailer of Temperance are Sea's most difficult NMs. Not because of their actions, but rather the chance for them to spawn. As I had stated in the original post, it took ten hours for me to finally pop Ix'Aern. The other day, I was there for eighteen hours. Back in the old days, when sea was actually a main focus for most linkshells, these spawning conditions may have been appropriate... But lets face it. Abyssea has become the main focus of this game at this moment. So the people that would actually be doing events in sea are solo players. And not everyone has time to wait around 10~18 hours killing normal mobs for a small chance at these NMs.

If you would kindly consider it, I'm sure most people would appreciate it if you could possibly increase the chance for these NMs to spawn after their Place Holder has been defeated. Despot doesn't take nearly as much effort to make spawn. And, if the fact that these NMs don't have a "respawn" timer, perhaps make them only able to repop every hour after death? Much like normal NMs. If you have to balance out the mechanics of these NMs by this means, almost certain no one would complain.

They need to just make both of those NMs force pop. Would solve a lot of problems.

Yes please. Would love to see these either spawn more frequently, or turned into a force pop.

Lottery spawns should die.
