When they said job emotes i was hoping cor would get a parrot...
OMG cor/dnc already has 50 things to worry about keeping up (dance roll shoot roll dance ) i can't imagine also having a pet >.< i would never get around to using it lol
You gotta admit though a pet parrot on your shoulder would be epic, hell even if it doesn t do anything, that guy has my vote!

I could see that having a pet for Corsairs would have been a job emote idea that was thrown around in the developers head. But a pet for Corsairs serves not much purpose for how the job's role is set up.
Maybe they should just give us more customizable options such as city pets when they have the space for it. (covers head for the flames)

Well, a pet bird or a monkey would be nice to fight along side with u while soloing althou it seems far-fetched but im all for it, I will start playing with my COR again if i get a pet XD

Give me a parrot as a spotter to hunt down my nms for me. Can always dream.
Just add in items that calls non combat pets. Something that all jobs can use. It would not effect the game play but it would be a fun factor.
Ohhh a cute little monkey that steals other player's wallets and bring them to me!

Lol you could always COR/BST... Although to have any effectiveness whatsoever you'd have to level BST to 90 first for BST JA's to be effective.
But it would be funny to see a COR with a pet apkallu or colibiri (not even sure if these are charm-able mobs or not?)
I always associated parrots with pirates, never really thought about pet monkeys until the Pirates of the Caribbean (sp?) movie series was released.
It would be cool if COR had a jug pet Parrot... esp if it had TH2 like the BSTs lady-bug jug.
After reading some of the other threads on the COR forum where people wanted wide-scan and TH, this would be very cool and kill a few birds with one stone COR/BST lol...
Fun to think about, but it will never happen... :(
