Controlling of the new avatar please (Survey)

The title explains itself, I wanted to post this in hopes of people helping this situation and letting SE know we don't want another Odin/Alexander type avatars.....Two is enough.


This thread is not a debate thread its just a simple yes/no followed by a brief opinion on why you pick yes/no. Leave the discussion vs each others opinion in the other thread.

Would you like Atomos/CaitSith similar to Odin/Alexander?

Answer: No
Reason: I would like to actually control these long awaited avatars, we only see one every 2 hours at the current time, excluding Abyssea. Some type of actual control would be nice for Odin/Alex, please don't make the new ones the same way...as Odin/Alex

I do want Atomos to be like Odin/Alexander. I'm hoping it won't just look like a cavernous maw but instead will appear in the sky and do bad things to people below.

I'd prefer them to be traditional, controllable, BP rage/ward avatars. We already have a offensive and defensive 2 hr avatar andother one would just be a waste

And please make Odin and Alexander no longer a 2 hours exclusive only. One of the most atrocious idea ever to be implemented in the game. Developers, please, exercise some thoughts, play the game, and most of all, LISTEN to what the customers want. Thanks you.

Cait Sith and Atomos should be normal avatars and not 2hr exclusives. The story really doesn't show them as being that powerful unlike Odin/Alex and Cait Sith kinda follows you around the whole time anyway.
For Odin/Alex I think the current way can stay but how about adding some control over them? I mean adding to each of them a new ability that you can use depending on the target you select.
Right now Odin is cast on the enemy and uses Zantetsuken while Alexander is cast on yourself and uses Perfect Defense.
Why not allow the option to cast Odin on yourself triggering a buff move (I was thinking about the intimidation move,Yggr, tweaked to work as a more powerful version of circle abilities) and cast Alexander on the enemy to trigger Divine Judgement. It just doesn't feel right to have Alexander summonable without his signature move.

Well... they could just use their TP moves from Einy/ToAU Missions, and make Perfect Defense their Astral Flow 2 hour.... possible, but I don't see it happening.

Honestly, I do want controllable avatars, but NOT these two. The Ultimate Enfeeblment 2 hr summons is intriguing to me. A reverse Alexander seems fitting, after all this is exactly what Atomos does in your fight with him and Caitsith. Caitsiths's Holy ??? Is intriguing but to unreliable to be useful.

I'd still like tO see a controllable, "big-moogle" summons with some of the moves used during "A Moogle Detat".

Wouldn't be half bad if community representatives ever replied to Summoner worries either. They seem to only bother with the other jobs, while they have some kind of vendetta against Summoner threads.

I fully support the ideas on here, would love to have odin/alex as full time avatars as well as the new ones, but honestly if I had to choose between the 2 sets I'd make atomos and cait sith 2hr onry and odin/alex full time.

Ya know, if they do let us keep Cait Sith out, there should be something like Carby mitts for him, so that you can have him for free. Except it's a cape, crown... or cape and crown as a set!

I'd prefer no....I'd also prefer that Atomos have the ability to absorb all the evil elvaans into a parallel dimention where they couldn't be mean to the little tarus anymore >_> <_< a taru can hope anyway!
