I think we need some time traveling moogles in Abyssea. Maybe we can pay them a stone for a peroid of time like the mog locker. I would say one stone per real life day sounds about right.

Edit: Maybe we can have job changing ability disabled so as to allow inventory access. I hate dropping so much good loot due to inventory filling up.

Seriously taking it into consideration, 1 stone per RL day is to low a cost. I would say something in the manner of 1 stone per 5 minute activation. In some cases people could have stones saved up and as it stands now the whole concept of obtaining the abyssites that give you more traverse stones don't really serve a purpose other then not having to run back to a stone supplier and reapplying time. You can just zone in and out but some people even then may micro manage time to save those extra minutes of having to run back.

If a nomad moogle did exist in hm, maybe a better balance would be 1 stone per RL day, and 500-1k cruor a job change or useage of any other mog command. It would save time fighting certain mobs where you are just missing the right proc. Instead of the person have to zone back into town just to change they could use one of their stones and change within the zone so they can use the proc that is needed, and then easily change back.

If you wanted to try balancing it more you could have it where the moogle can only change you to jobs that are 75+ to prevent leechers from just changing jobs and keeping their xp boost.

If you think about it this concept could work if you think of it in more of a time saver for proccing mobs, then a means to allow leechers to xp faster. While it doesn't really make a difference to me I figured I'd chime in with a suggestion if they ever considered adding moogles. I mean think about it, wouldn't you pay 1 stone and cruor to be able to change to the proper proc without having to leave the zone and lose the lights and time you had built up. Overall it would be a small price to pay but it has the potential to ease the congestion with certain mobs that may be held for procing. A prime example would be the tier 3 VNMs in scars of abyssea areas. Since those are the only +2 empyrean mats that have only 1 spawn, if they are so adamant about making two more for each of them, then maybe they can compromise and add a moogle that could help ease congestion and quicken the procing process.

Time wise depending on person, job change and location of NM it could take 5-10 minutes of holding a mob before you actually proc it. From port Jueno you have HP set right outside MH, or maybe they have it set at the crystal. They change job run out to teleport and maybe grab more stones before warping. Then they zone in and possibly get atmas and attribute boost before making their way to the warp. Then if needed they travel from the warp point back to where the party is to proc it.

Now if a moogle was available they could just run back to the entrance, pay the moogle the one stone, change jobs for 1k cruor, reapply buffs if they decide to make them wear off when changing job and just run back over to the NM and proc it.

Honestly even if this topic is a "troll" attemtp the method in which it could ease congestion is plausible as long as there are restrictions that make the moogles work in a way in which it's made to assist in procing and taking down mobs rather then make leveling low level jobs easier.

No troll attempt that is just not my style at all. I was more thinking along the lines of having access to my inventory. I carry a lot of gear but still like to collect crafting items ect. I have had to drop good stuff to make room outside of Abyssea but inside my inventory tends to fill even faster. I would not mind if Abyssea moogles had job change disabled so it would not be an issue.

For the guy wanting to job change for procs, if you're solo, that's part of what you have to deal with. If you're not solo, plan better, and deal with not having the proc.

We don't need moogles in Abyssea, there's enough timewasters as there is, we don't need more people (because it already happens) holding mobs while others change jobs for proc'ing. Don't have the proc? Plan better, suck less, and if you don't have the proc, suck it up and try again.

No, we don't need any more mudbloods in Abyssea.

Oh wait......

For anyone wondering why people don't like to make suggestions on these forums, study this one. First you risk being called a troll and then the unnecessary put downs start. The things folks write say more about them then the people they are trying to mock.

Ya know, starting all over with lights and exp...why penalize people for wanting to oh, say, change jobs in case someone has to go?

1. Seems to me that people do like to make suggestions on this forum, (see: General Discussion, any job forum) so I don't know where you're going with the beginning of your post here.

2. People on these forums have a pronounced tendency to call anyone with a disagreeing opinion to their own "trolls." It's not just suggestions. I don't see anyone putting you down specifically.

Back on topic...

If you need the inventory space that badly, why not arrange your safe/storage/locker/satchel/sack/inventory before leaving town to maximize your available inventory space? I don't see the implementation of moogles in Abyssea as being a necessary measure to alleviate this problem.

I also believe that allowing you to change jobs in Abyssea would be a poor idea. Building lights and XP doesn't take long, and being able to change jobs in the middle of a hostile area or situation would be potentially game-breaking. If you know that a party member is going to have to leave, try to plan ahead for that eventuality. People can't change jobs in the middle of Dynamis (and can no longer leave, change, and come back) if someone leaves, nor can they in Salvage, Assault, Limbus, or any other similar battle-oriented area or event. I personally see no need to allow it in Abyssea either; leave job-changing for towns.
