I have recently gotten this error while doing Wings of The Goddess quests and misisons. It has happened 3 times so far on my main character only during cutscenes. Originally I was able to reset the console and start over. Now my character is stuck in a zone behind a cutscene in which it just freezes up and goes to a black screen is there anything that can be done? I've already tried re-installing the game.
*edit* It has been several years since I have seen this error. I believe I used to see it while fighting Jailer of Faith.

Thank you for your report on this concern, it is appreciated! Not being able to complete a cutscene without freezing is definitely upsetting. I would like to submit a report for you, however, I will need to collect some information from you first. If you are able, please fill out as much as you can from the following template. Upon receipt, we will submit this matter for review for you! On a side note, this also sounds like it could be a concern where you may wish to contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center for additional assistance and technical support. They may be able to find a resolution for you where a bug report could not!

p.s.: no matter how much details you provide, nothing has or is being done to fix this. SE does not care about PS2/3 users.

Correct and I even have an official e-mail from Tech Support to prove it.

"We currently do not have a solution" = "nothing has or is being done"?
Not arguing how well SE does or doesn't support PS2/3 users, but you're making a bit of a leap there; not having a solution yet merely means that they have not -finished- working on the issue, but says nothing further about the state of the work. It doesn't mean they've started working on it, but it doesn't mean they haven't; only that they haven't finished.

yes I agree with the statement on SE not caring too much about ps2. I also have a problem of freezing and not being able to finish CS which in turn I cant complete quests or unlock other quests that follow. I filed a claim with the support center the email I got back told me to log into an xbox or pc view the CS then continue playing on ps2.
honestly..if I had a pc that could run ff11 or an xbox dont ya think Id be using it instead of a ps2??...
