Ob. That's it people... JUST Ob.
It didn't take long for people to realize that the new latest automaton attachments could drop off of this particular fellow. So of course people are killing him for attachments only to either sell them or use them on their own PUP.
It is great to see people starting to show interest in ZNMs all over again, the sad part is, it's just Ob.
Currently on my server Ob has been costing up to 3,100 Zeni per Cog Lubricant and well... Anantaboga, Dextrose and Reacton are still sitting at 2,000 Zeni, which means, nobody is making any progress up the ZNM family tree. Once the attachments drop in price, the demand for Ob will drop too. But, SE has said that they will be adding new attachments in future updates. This will reignite interest for people to look for those attachments on Ob's dismembered carcass.
Perhaps this is SE's plan to breath new life into Treasures of Aht Urhgan? Who knows! Maybe the latest wave of players will soon start their "The Road to Aht Urhgan" Quest. And quite possibly, this has nothing to do with anything since it was never mentioned on the roadmap.
