So, this is something that has bugged me since 2003. Why not have an option to just toggle the music on or off, in addition to the sliding bar for the volume? I like to have the music on occasionally, while keeping it off most of the time. When I do have it on, though, it's always at max volume. Maybe I'm just incredibly lazy, but I think it would be nice to be able to leave it at the max volume, and hit off or on to turn it off/on, rather than slide it all the way to the lowest or highest.

Thought about this many a time myself. It's one of those minor inconveniences that occasionally bugs me and I imagine it should not be too difficult to mend.

Though I wouldn't be surprised either if it would require too much work...

It shure is alot of work for me.... cause i got like 6 characters i switch between while i stream internet radio. Expecially the title screen. Any way to turn that music off completly? I wish there was a way to turn it off just once and it would be off for all my characters at the same time, or vice versa when i'm not listening to the radio.

I'd like /musicvol XX and /soundvol XX commands that set the volume at whatever % of max. Or put it on a 0-254 scale if that would be easier.

Just make sure that the setting is usable during cutscenes. I can turn WinAmp off, but I can't turn ingame music on during a cutscene. And that's exactly when I WANT it on...
