View Full Version : UCS-60512 - cant update my cc info

Details about problem:

Since 3th of july i have been trying to update my creditcard info to reactivate my character after that billing incident that happend early this month. Every time i try, i get the error UCS-60512. I talked to the agent's at the chatsupport several times and they just tell me to be patient while they are waiting for a reply from jp HQ. I find it kind of strange this is not being more prioritied. Its allmost like SE dont want your customers to be able to pay and login. This problem is not even mentioned on the ffxi offical site.

Other info:
Windows platform.
EU player GMT+1 time.
Visa card
Tried calling my bank but they tell me everything is fine.


When do you expect this problem to be fixed?

I've been having problems with this too. Se the thread poster above posted.

I tried 4 different banks I have. 2 MAstercards 3 Visa cards ( wife one of em ). None worked. Talked to SE on phone and email several times..

Then I tried one of my RL friends and ingame friends card. And voila it worked. He uses another Norwegian bank then the 4 ive tried. So I guess this problem is toward some banks.. But only on POL, since all my other cards work on every other online shops etc etc.. Just not in POL..

Im just happy im ingame now :D And finaly can start playing again after 1 year break :P Just transfer money to friend ive borrowed card from.

I can't get my card to work since the botched registration server maintenance, either. Still not able to play. I suppose I'm really rather glad this forced break has happened. It is nice to do other things than play one game all the time.

I just wonder when it will be fixed so I can play again when I am feenin'.
