Post Update Quick Testing

ok, just logged on after the update and did a couple quick tests.

In Cape Terrigan on an ep rabbit:

Capped Divine w/max merits
with 82+35 mnd no MAB gear ect.
Holy: 170-185~
Holy w/Divine Emblem: 835

did this 3 times. First time resisted and did 190~ ish dmg, but the following 2 both did 835. I suppose with gear/mab you could easily push 1k every 10 mins.
Cant say I'd be pressed to carry a holy set for a 10min ability though. To each their own.


The shield bash part I was most interested in being that I have an Ochain. However, the results were more then disappointing.

On the same ep rabbit in cape terrigan:

Ochain w/valor gloves: 35 dmg
Seigneur Shield w/valor gloves: 75~ dmg

Did both of these 2x each on same rabbit. I didn't have a tower size shield to try, but I'd assume it would do closer to 100~. Seems they totally left Ochain out of the mix, which I could understand, if done on purpose, to leave Aegis where it stands.
I still would have liked it to do as much as a size 3 at least.

Thats all I had time to play with for now. I'll give banish 2 and cover a try later on. Banish 2 could be interesting given the damage boost from holy. Cover didnt seem very thrilling based on the notes, but I'll keep an open mind I guess.

My Aegis SB didn't change at all so if its based on size they left Aegis and Ochain off the tweak.

same here aramaic. sucks maybe its for the lower lvl shields?

Appears only non relic and empy got a boost. But Ochain is doing less than it use too which doesn't make sense.

I used an Argos Shield (sue me I like the Elemental Resistances on it and don't have the time / patience to get an OChain lol) on Almighty Apakallu and did 65 damage on Shield Bash. Did 635 damage on Holy with DE stacked.

Dagda's Shield did 65 dmg.

Bit of quick testing myself, got koenig shield up to 94 dmg (valor gauntlets, guardian's ring, knightly earring) and all I gotta say... I want fenian ring even more now then before. Also did a 609 Banish II with divine emblem, and 626 with emblem + creed sabatons +1, both with 329 divine skill. Still a large margin off the mark to truly bringing pld tank's back, but I'll gladly take whatever I can get.
