Does their vana'diel clock work differently? I'm here hunting a magian trial NM with some Japanese players. Some of their ToDs are rather strange. For example, right now it is 12:10ish am EST. 17:30ish in game at time of PH death. One of them just reported a ToD on PH as 09:01. Earlier I saw something like 43:15. Oh and in the past 15 min or so, 53:32. I don't get it.

They could be talking about minutes that have elapsed.

Another example: Just now. PH dies at almost 10:00 exact in game. The Japanese report it as 50:15. The past 6 PH ToDs go like this:

21:07
27:02
32:53
38:45
44:35
50:15

Um hmm maybe the first number is their RL minutes, second number is seconds and they're just not including the hour? Looks like that might be the case. More or less 6 minutes separating each ToD by looking at the first figure.

You do know that out door areas a mob re spawns every five minutes. So you are seeing the time of next PH spawn since last NM TOD.
