For woodworking veteran guild contract, I had to make 2.6 mahogany staves today.
One of the 3 synths I did was a Heavy Staff (HQ). When I traded it, I got 2310 points for it. When I traded a NQ staff, I ALSO got 2310 points for it... why would NQ and HQ give the same points? Almost all recipes with a HQ gives more points for a HQ. For a recruit level recipe that gives 13 points, I could understand that the rounding results in 13 points for a HQ as well, but not for 2310 point item...

It's just like that on some of the items in every craft.

aside form the fact that thye need to redo all the GP items for each craft;

It always annoyed me that Gp requirements take 2.6 items as apposed to 2 or 3. Tho it doesnt make a lot of diff i guess.
What they could do is keep the regs and make the HQ equal the extra .6
Meaning the HQ would be worth 1.3 in this case. Because as they are now, a hq doesnt rly give anything, makeing getting one worthless.

The way I'd like to see it:

Recruit: 10 items for 100 GP each (1000 GP)
Initiate: 10 items for 150 GP each (1500 GP)
Novice: 8 items for 250 GP each (2000 GP)
Apprentice:6 items for 500 GP each (3000 GP)
Journeyman: 5 items for 800 GP each (4000 GP)
Craftsman: 4 items for 1250 GP each (5000 GP)
Artisan: 3 items for 2000 GP each (6000 GP)
Adept: 2 items for 3500 GP each (7000 GP)
Veteran: 1 item for 8000 GP (8000 GP)

* HQ will give +10% on the item (so if you traded 5 journeyman items, and 2 of them were HQ, then you'd get 800*3 + 880*2 = 4160 GP)
* Recipes will not contain rare NM drops (such as Revenging Staff)
