In Ballista, the spell "Break" does not build immunity on the target with repeated use, unlike all other negative statuses:

Sleep,
Bind,
Gravity,
Silence

Etc.

The spell is also not subject to partial resists and despite having a large amount of resistance to the spell, the duration is never affected. It is very "Hit and Miss."

The spell seems harder to break in PvP with DoT than in PvE,

a 30/dot on a person should release the person from the effects of Break instantly.

The spell should be subject to the same penalty other enfeebles experience, and should have its duration shortened by "Resist Petrify" gear, as well as the base resist rate, like every other enfeeble in the game.

Platform: PC, Windows 7 64-bit
ISP: Cox Communications
Type of Internet Connection: Cable
Internet Connection Speed: 10mbps
Date & Time: 6/3/2011
Frequency: Whenever the spell Break is used against another player.
Character Name: Urteil
Race: Hume
World: Phoenix
Main Job: Dark Knight
Support Job: Samurai, Red Mage, Ninja, Scholar
Area and Coordinates: All Ballista Areas, or PvP encounters.
Party or Solo: Both.

Steps:

1. Break does not build "diminishing returns" on player targets with repeated use in PvP.

2. Break in PvP rarely if ever breaks due to damage over time. DoT's of 25/tic have a hard time breaking the spell, this should be adjusted.

3. Break does not seem to be subject to partial resists duration wise.

4. "Resist Petrify" gear and job traits seem to have little to no effect on the spell.
