Alright lets face it, when BLU's heard that we were getting Everyone's Grudge, there was a lot of mixed feelings, people thought it was BS at first, some people thought it would be the most broken spell in the game, others thought it would just outright suck. Unfortunatly its treading between a decent spell and sucking, because I'm sure none of us could of anticipated that this spell would have such weak imagination put into its multipliers and uses. I mean a Dark Based magic spell that is amplified by MND? Do I only find this to be kinda screwy?
Well I think this spell needs to be adjusted to be something that all of us BLU's would feel is worth of the name Everyone's Grudge. I mean this spell really has some potential to be something great, while people suggested that it would be based on ton berry hate or some garbage of that nature, here was my idea...
Everyone's Grudge Adjustment
Deals Darkness Damage, but the multiplier is instead hate (much as PLD's Atonement WS since by no means is it hard to pull hate on a BLU in parties of an nature) so this way if you were at 100% hate, you could create the maximum damage with your spell. To ensure that people don't simply get this spell and just spam said nuke until the mob is dead while maintaining the maximum multiplier. After every use of this spell, the Enmity towards a mob is erased/depleted. Under these conditions Everyone's Grudge would have so much practicality.
For instance, if I was wanting to regulate hate and temporary tank I could pull hate through spells, and when the tank is ok to retake it's position within the party mechanic, I drop this pretty lil spell, deal a fat chunk of damage, and loose all of my enmity to give hate back to the tank. This could serve a BLU so well since we can so easily pull hate off of tanks, and I personally think that giving this spell a bit more of an imaginative flare is what would make it very useful. I hope that SE considers this, and I would like to hear some input from other jobs, because I can honestly see BLU/THF making a come back with this spell by doing SATA (Insert Spell) and then doing Everyone's Grudge when achieving maximum hate.
I think this spell should cost 125 MP, have a 3 second cast timer, but a 2-3 minute recast. THis way people can't spam it and completely eradicate their enmity gain because this would make the job broken, yet reducing casting time and mp cost would make this a spectacular spell for our arsenal.
