One of the major problems that is see with endgame is that all the content is separate. That is, working on say relics your stuck farming dynamis for coins and whatnot. Mythics? Alexandrite and assaults. Empryean? Abyssea...so on and so forth.
This leads to not only the eventual "gear useless" arguments but the "No one is doing it anymore" arguments.

I see only one solution that will help to a certain degree, the concept is " battle content flow". Basically, using content from ALL endgame. Trials of the Magican, matched with empreyean gear is the perfect vehicle for this idea. With the creation of either a new "+3" path or just a new armor branch geared for the lvl 99 jobs, SquareEnix can reinvigorate older content.

Imagine a gear set which required a player to turn in several endgame pieces. I see (2) paths forming, an "elite" and "regular" path of magian trial. The regular path requires a player to turn in AF and relic type gear. While the elite uses the harder to acquire nyzul, salvage, einghjar pieces. Acquiring these pieces for all jobs per player, would insure that all the content is revisited by players.

Another way to get players into the older BCNM, ISNM, etc content is providing random amount of dynamis coin, alexandrite and other items. These additional avenues of payment could be in turn, use d for new items such as empreyean torques, relic torques, etc.
If not coin, then a rare/ex item with each level or BCNM would drop. Or, each empty orb filled with "win" energy to be trade to moogle for "success".

Another idea is random orb drops in all the endgame events(of varying level).

As always please feel free to make suggestions or contribute with the OP.
