Ever since the last update I have noticed something along with many of my friends and linkshell members. I have asked around about it on several different forums and the reactions are mixed. The Key Item "Bloodstained Bugar Fang" No longer drops from Gold boxes, In Ragnarok at least. I have given this weeks of testing without it dropping once. Just looking at the congestion around the ??? for the Minax Bugard pop is enough to tell you that it's not just us. When 18 individual people are spamming macro's to claim a ??? there's a problem.
SE made it to where Gukumats KI drops from the box, but if they intentionally took the bugard KI out then they didn't fix the problem they just moved it from people claiming a time spawn, to people fighting over a ???. Now I've heard some people say on there servers the KI still exsists in gold boxes. SO! my point is
Bloodstained Bugard Fang does not drop from Gold boxes in Ragnarok. Is this intentional? Or a problem SE overlooked?
Thank you for all your help ^^

Through my personal experience, the items from gold chest (KI-wise) vary depending on the mobs you're fighting. I've continuously seen the same two or three KIs drop from gold chests in experience parties throughout multiple zones.
Try fighting different mobs and see what you get.

See This is what I ment by mixed reviews. I've heard people claim they have and haven't. As well as myself remembering getting them from Gold boxes once. Even if not and my memory fails me. It's strange that SE would make an area like Attowa where you can get every KI from gold boxes and not add the Bloodied in this case.

To my knowledge it doesn't matter at all what you fight for KI. I'd have to agree with Kimble on that one

No, you can not get every KI from gold boxes in Attowa.
In the first 3 abyssea zones, ever KI dropped from gold boxes but the one for the Tonberry and the Krab.
In Chasm, you only get 1 of the 4 key items used to pop the corse from gold boxes.

Interesting, Thanks ^^. However it still makes me question why SE would do that. After all it doesn't really eliminate the congestion problem, it just moves it as I said before. I hope SE intends to put all the Ki's in gold boxes or at least add more ???'s for heavily congested mobs.

Typically, having to deal with a ??? pop is a lot easier and manageable than dealing with a time spawned.
I didnt notice much of a problem when we did it, then again, I can usually work out a rotation system at the ??? with other groups doing it.

Let me guess, you also believe only certain mob types drop certain AF3 base feet right?

The tusk to pop Minax drops in gold chest, but I don't recall gold chests ever having the fang for popping Sobek. Think you still have to farm that off Minax.
haven't been on a Sobek run in a long time though, so could be mistaken.
