Nyzle Isle is now impossible to compete!!

I took a break from the game for 7 months and returned to the lvl 90 cap and all the abyssea releases, I decided I wanted to complete nzyle Isle for my BST,MNK,PUP,RDM and THF weapon skills, this ------------------IS NOW AN IMPOSSIBILITY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never started nyzle isle when everyone else was spamming it, I was too busy doing other things in game, so I stupidly assumed that after the lvl 90 cap it could be solo'd or duo'ed so I was in no rush, however it now seems that no one wants to do nyzle isle and those who do have no intention of helping ppl do floors 10-15 (the florrs I need), now I know some of you will say "form a static", or Nyzle isle can be trio'd I have tried these routes, I have in total been asking and shouting ingame for 14.5 hours (NOTHING ELSE JUST TRYING TO FIND PPL FOR NYZLE ISLE!!!)

So it seems that anyone who does not play the game for 4-5 hours a day everyday has to be penalised YET AGAIN......I am a VERY very resourceful person in game I am a 6 year veteran of the game and my main jobs are BST-PUP-SMN all solo'd I have NEVER had this much trouble finding ppl for such an easy task and yet I have been unable to find people time and time again, and as a result my PUP is now gimped on weapon skills as PUP has no acess to asurain fists or any type of hand-to-hand latent weapon skill trial except the new Emp ones , so can SE tell me if they will constantly peanalise people for taking a break or not playing for 4-5 hours a day, or does it take someone to rant in the forums (me) for someone at SE to realise their mistakes and sort it out!!

Nyzle Isle is utterly broken now for anyone who missed it before Abyssea was released
if you are in the same position as me I wish you luck trying to find help :mad:

Nyzle Isle improvments;
1* Remove the daily wait for tags.
2* provide the option of renting NPC's to help if low manning solo, duo.
3* possible quest or alternate form of floor completion for solo or partys under 3 ppl

Though I do agree the tag issue should be done i'd rather they not touch anything for fear of them thinking: "Oh gee we made this so much easier so lets bring in this abby proc system to even things out" or "Let's raise the lvl of the enemies"

I'd much rather be pissed off at lamps than pissed off that i can't proc for a vigil weapon drop or god forbid for floor advancement (tho they tend to drop a bit cavalierly so that first bit might be moot)

eh...for me it's one of those things that simply got put on the back burner in light of the newer content you need to do to get your new shiny gears for the level 90 jobs. Had a small group form up to do them because a friend was in fact going after his Stringing Pummel, and we were just starting to get the hang of it when Abyssea hit, and it just kinda got left behind.

As more people have finished up getting stuff for their favorite jobs, they've started going back to do older content again. I'm starting to see more people planning to go back to WotG mission tracks and such....someone was in fact talking about putting together some Nyzul runs in shell last week.

Waiting sucks, especially since it's such an easy task.
I feel as though getting to floor 100 is going to take another couple of months (at 60 I think atm)

Well no, it will never be soloable or duoable as it stands now, because you need 3 people to enter.

I can see the issue with wanting to do it with one or two people. Make a static would be my recomendation with 2 others who have similar goals as you for this one. It is very eazy now @90 cap trioing it. I have done it before @ 75 with group 6 had problems. Then recently did it on aother character with 3 bsts. Won every floor no need any body boosts no temps nada. After we hit floor 100 we went back and got 1 more person randomly to come up on a specific job we needed since the only boss floor that will drop 2 wpns is 96 ~100 and one them is always the job who takes you up.
As for finding people to help you on your run .... if you where in my ls you would gotten it done. Maybe find a new ls thats more friendlier to what you want to accompish out the game. Since we even went back in to help mebers (as a matter fact last week). The runs are very simple once you get dynamics down.
Just have patience. Things will come and people will want do these events eventualy. Its one of those ones its a hit or miss kind of deal. We had shout for awile @ 75 cap. Then i meet people amongst playing and if you said you been playing for 6 years I am sure (like me a 2004 ps2 vet ) you can hit up 2 of your friends that would help you if not meet new players and change your friend list around maybe :) Just dont get frustrated over it all good things come in time and determination.

All you need is friends. As level 90, I've managed to climb 5 floors with 3 members and 10 floors with 6! If you manage to get a competent group, you can get 40 floors done in one night. Nyzul doesn't need any fixing other than removing the limitation of assault tags.

Regarding your comment about lamps... Technically that's not true

It is possible that 3 people go in and find that they have to do 5 lamps and switch them all on at the same time... that has happened to me in the past which irked me the most cos it was virtually impossible to do and we tried to trio that floor but we failed cos we couldn't do it but there have been other times that we were lucky... so Nyzle Isle sometimes need luck as you never know what floor you're gonna get

My linkshell had a discussion about Nyzle Isle because most of us never got to floor 100. 1 person who is at floor 100 offered to take the group up because his beast could solo most of the floors - except for the lamp floors. At the risk of being unlucky and having a floor that has separate lamps we figured it was a good solution. He offered to just take 3 ppl if they wanted to go and have them stand by the entrance while he clears the tasks. Its not impossible to do it, just takes planning and patience.

Well, I understand how you feel: I myself had to wait for months before getting past 20. I also understand the system being frustrating (spent 20 minutes on a lamp order floor on a pickup party....NOT fun). But overall, they did make it easier. If you have a LS, see if they can set aside time to climb up. Focus FIRST on getting floors. Once you reach 100, THEN focus on farming (Granted, farm if time allows, but don't let it be the focal point of entry). Hope this will shed some insight.

Lol attempted floors 25-30 got 2 lamp in order floors with 5 lamps didnt get to floor 30. Tried again another 5 lamps in order
after that we didnt care which mob the floor said we terminated them all out of pure frustration at the lamps. Mob floors are easy, lamps take time. We will get to floor 100 just got unlucky with lamps

I'd like to see some useful upgrades to nyzul gear, that would at least bring back enough interest in doing it to make it easier for people to get the ws abilities that haven't got them yet.

Also though, if the gear ever gets updated plz do something about the drop rates!!! I know, age old argument, but before the level cap rise my static did it for a full year and I never got a single piece of gear that I wanted. Plenty of dd drops though, and the one time something did manage to drop for me it was ninja lotted from under me. ;-;

I think you've admirably demonstrated why you're having issues. If you want people to help you, they have to understand what the hell you're saying. In a text-based environment if you want help from people you don't know, you'll do better if you can actually communicate. I know non-native english speakers who communicate more clearly than you. idk about other servers but on Asura there are Nyzel /sh all the time. Not to mention it isnt that hard to get a static going. I set up a static after I got sick of waiting on ppl to help my slow crawl (of course this was pre-aby) and we got to 100 in a few weeks and I made friends that are still in my ls today.

Even now it isnt too bad. A few newer players in my ls wanted the climb. Since there was 3 of them we offered to take them up if we could find more ppl for the static. A couple of days later with some /sh here and there at diff times, they were 6/6. I explained lamps to everyone and up they are going. Making Nyzel soloable or duoable would be as bad a concept as it was to get rid of the lvl cap on CoP. Whats the point of the game if you can walk in alone and destroy everything in your path in 30 minutes?

Really Id love to see an extention of 101-200 floors with some new challanges and rewards at 120 140 160 180 and 200. I love nyzel isle and even tho I dont need anything from it I will join groups just for fun.

Always go with 3 people. taking more than 3 instantly makes nyzul harder. 1 mage 2 DD is all you need.

The same goes for pretty much anything pre-Abyssea, like missions, BCNM, Garrison, etc. No one ever answers your shouts, especially if you're from Europe and play around hours 9/10 - 12 PM (GMT+2) and basically all I do now is solo FoV or GoV. I like the idea of using additional NPC's for doing missions & quests, or maybe scale the enemies somehow to become a manageable for solo or really low man playing, otherwise I don't see a bright future ahead for my character :(

People that constantly correct people's spelling and grammar have low self esteem because either others put them down for the thing's they are not good at, so they try to insert themselves as superior on the internet because they have better spelling and grammar. That or they just use spell/grammar checks out the wazoo to make it seem like they are. lol ... Just like I did with this post to get my point across to them, because if your post has perfect spelling and grammar, then they can't dodge the subject at hand and insult/correct your spelling/grammar.
