This is something which has honestly frustrated me since the early days and grows less tolerable as time goes on: the time limit on how frequently you can transfer an item to/from inventory, safe, storage, locker, satchel, sack. I can click the first item I want switched over, then click the next one 8 times before I'm allowed to move it over. I've probably spent over a month of my life switching equipment around my MH, and I'm guessing there are many other people who have spent longer than I have.
You may well have your reasons for capping how frequently those transactions can be made (bandwidth maybe?), and it might even be so buried in the original coding that tampering with it could be disastrous to the stability of the code, but I don't think there's a single player who wouldn't enjoy spending less time transferring items around.
And while I'm thinking about it, there's a similar cap on how frequently you can lot/pass something in the loot pool which gets annoying as well. And the time limit on how frequently you can input text.
I think it all boiled down to stability or bandwidth issues or whatever. It's been awhile since I read up on this stuff but I believe in the beginning things like this didn't exist and it was havoc on the servers. So they were forced to implement these delays in between just about everything. My biggest beef is the waiting period to use del box when sending and receiving. Followed by buying crap at a guild NPC..

I recall something about delays added to counter certain dupe glitches as well. Unfortunately I don't remember enough about that incident to say for sure weather this is the reason/related.

I'm fairly sure this is the case. Also, Inventory items are stored server-side rather than client side so there is a limit on how fast things can be adjusted properly anyways.

1.5-year old bump. Can we has the ability to put stuff into mog house faster yet?

You mean like in Skyrim "Take all" or "Transfer All" commands for storing/removing items?
Also "Sell All" of one type of item in main inventory with a (yes/no) conformation?
It's things like this type of convenience where people who complain get shot down. It's game breaking to them or other things of interest to the developers are needed first. Things like nerfing the game for balance are more important then speeding up repetitive annoying task.
Then you have the supporters who defend the limited inconvenient design like it'll put the game in easy mode. Take your pick It'll probably never happen. Then again they added the new trade menu information that shows the inventory current & max so maybe it might just happen.

No, I'm actually talking about the item-shift delay. When you click one item to put it into your mog safe, you can click the next item 5 times and it won't be stored. The reason for this is that the game caps how often you can make interactions of this sort. I believe they implemented it so a griefer can't go into their mog house and switch all 80 items from inventory to storage in 3 seconds, then keep repeating until the servers crash.
My request is that the delay gets re-examined to see if they can perhaps reduce or remove it. It's mostly so I can switch my gear around to change jobs faster.
